31M trying to make friends in Eugene

Hey what’s up everyone. I moved to Eugene a little over a year ago and honestly just haven’t really found a friend group or people to chill with yet. I’m 31, have a girlfriend and 2 kids, and figured I’d throw this out there.

I’m really into UFC and sports in general and I’ve become a pretty huge Ducks fan since moving here. I also play guitar and mostly listen to heavy metal and all the subgenres. I smoke weed, game sometimes, and used to longboard a ton before a brain injury kinda took me out of it. I still miss it though and would still cruise around sometime if anyone’s down lol.

Just looking for good people to talk sports, music, games, life, whatever. Even recommendations for places to meet people around Eugene would be cool.

I feel so much better this time around

Last time we had the first pick I was only about 12 or 13 in 2007. I had hope back then just because I was a kid and didn’t really understand how things could go wrong, and we all know how that turned out. Now that I’m older and a lot more realistic, I actually have real confidence this time around.

The work ethic alone with Mendoza stands out. Learning the playbook before even getting drafted says a lot about his preparation and seriousness. His character and approach to the game feel different, more locked in.

As a Ducks fan it was tough watching them get taken down by Indiana, but I’m still excited about where things are headed overall. Looking forward to the future.

I miss this era.. these had so much hype!

I’m pretty got to try all of them but Lacey was my favorite. The only one I didn’t try was ginger because she was spendy and carbon!

This is the first time I’ve ever recorded myself as you can tell

This is really like the first time I’ve actually tried singing. I’m usually to shy.. even alone and just embarrassed to hear myself but I went for it! Idk why outta nowhere but I just felt like doing it. Open to any criticism! I know it’s terrible.. I can take it 🤣

I need to find a some good ducks friends or a good tailgate crew!

Ive been a fan of the Oregon Ducks football for only about a year, but somehow I got hooked hard…borderline obsessed at this point 😂. Problem is, I really don’t have many people around me to talk football with. My girlfriend tries, but I know I talk her ear off about it.

Just looking for some chill people to talk Ducks football with, watch games, talk recruiting, schemes, hype up the season, whatever. Huge bonus if you’re 4/20 friendly and into heavy metal too 🤘

If anyone wants footage to look faster insta360 is the way to go.

Up until the insta360 came out I really don’t feel many cameras gave a feel for how fast we are really going. Even the GoPro sometimes would look kinda slow.. this is the exact same hill and about the same speed and the difference is insane. I miss skating so much

Some of my favorite gear throughout the years

The only thing I couldn’t find was the super super OG Andrew Mercado Madrid deck.. it was rounded on each end and it with SICKKKKKKK with Indy 215s

Phone camera quality is insane now!

This is a macro still shot I grabbed off a video I took off a spider. Isn’t it insane the quality we have now?
