Ama Dablam Base Camp, Nepal — Solo Trek Experience + Itinerary & Costs
Finally got around to sharing some photos from my solo trek in the Khumbu region of Nepal. One of the most unreal experiences I’ve had — especially reaching Ama Dablam Base Camp and seeing the Himalayas up close.
🗺️** Route / Itinerar**y
Day 1–2: India → Gorakhpur → Sonauli → Bhairahawa → Kathmandu
Day 3: Kathmandu → Surke
Day 4: Surke → Namche Bazaar
Day 5: Acclimatization around Namche → Syangboche / Everest View Hotel
Day 6: Namche → Tengboche
Day 7: Tengboche → Pangboche
Day 8: Pangboche → Ama Dablam Base Camp → Pangboche
Day 9: Pangboche → Dingboche
Day 10+: Return towards Namche → Kathmandu → India
I deliberately avoided the Lukla flight and travelled overland to keep the trip cheaper and make the journey itself part of the experience.
