Another voron 500 update

Been slowly picking away at this thing the last month or two after work. Added a modified version (for larger size) of the electronics drawer inspired by Fun3DP with his ElecTray on github. Also modified the pullys from the original setup from the monolith awd from Monolith3D. I noticed the set screws on the pullys were rubbing the belt so I pulled those out and replaced with standard idler pullys but ground down the flanges so they would fit at the 4 corners by the motors and did the same thing at the x gantry because the original version had the one flange removed allowing the belt to ride up. And printed a more solid spacer.

Now i just need to actually mount the hardware in the electronics drawer and start wiring. All hardware was sourced from Amazon. Both the gantry and drawer slide nice and smooth. The bottom of the drawer sits about 1/8 inch above the carpet which i think is perfect clearance for sitting on the floor.

I'll be running both a 24v and 48v psu with TMC5160T v1.0 on an octopus pro. And I already have the cb2 initially programmed on the btt pi4b adapter.

Slowly but surely getting closer to being able to fire it up. I'm still considering turning it into a tool changer later after I get it fired up.

Screen question.

Here's my voron 500. (Expanded 2.4) I posted about it a long while ago when I first started building it but life happened and I'm finally starting to work on it a little bit more again. I just ordered btt pi4b adapter and cb2. Meanwell 24v 500w psu. Already have a meanwell 600 watt 48v psu should i decide to go 48v. It'll be sporting an octopus pro and since it's 48 inches tall, to help minimize power loss in the long run from the main board to the motors on the gantry I plan on using 16 or 18awg wire instead of the 24 or 26 that come on the motors. That's the reason for the dual cable chains at the rear. I also decided to ditch the 2020 for the upright pieces and now I'm using 40x40 (20x20 profile) for the upright frame pieces and slotted screws. This alone increased rigidity a ton. I'm also considering trying to build an electronics bay drawer at the bottom so if i have to replace or work on anything instead of tiping this giant over to fix/ replace anything I can just pull open the drawer and have easy access.

I'm curious what yall are using or would recommend for a touch screech for something as custom as this I'm thinking a 5 inch or 7 inch. I'm thinking about mounting it near the top since it will be sitting on the floor and don't want to bend over all the time to control it. Also later on I may consider turning this into a monster tool changer after I get it functioning. And build something like a custom box turtle like spool rack on top. Not 100% sure yet though.

Updated - buttons not working now

Hello everyone. I ran into a problem with fluid after updating.

I have an ender 3 and ender 6 both sporting an skr mini e3v3 and both are driven by a single pad 7 sporting a cb2 compute module.

It's been about 2 months since i last turned on my printers and I finally got an itch to turn em on. For whatever reason I decided to check for and run the latest update. After install and reboot my buttons in fluid stopped working after the update. Finally the one for the ender 6 started working but my ender 3 only the ones in red work and the ones in yellow don't do anything. When I try to click on them it looks like they are being clicked but nothing actually happens. I have tried restarting everything but that didn't fix it. Any ideas on fixing this? Or just wait for the next update and hope that one fixes it? Any help would be much appreciated!
