As a Pokemon enjoyer this patch and build was good fun.

Stacking enough reservation efficiency and spirit allowed me to basically hunt and use whatever big beasts I wanted, I always carried an extra skill ball and after searching long enough I found my team of poekemon, some of them (Elephant Tortoise I'm lookin at you) were high-reservation which made it a little bit of a challenge.

Passives:

Augments:
All Idols except weapon (Idol of Ralakesh helm is important)
Weapon Augments:
Soul Core of Azcapa x3

Uniques:
MH: Chober Chaber
OH: Sylvan's Effigy
Body: Forgotten Wardens
Helm: The Vertex
Gloves: Treefingers

Get corrupted versions with more sockets (3 for MH weapon, 2 for gloves,helm,etc)

Key rare modifiers:
Belt (% Increased minion efficiency)
Amulet (+Spirit)

The rest just get minion damage/crit and defensives.

The Poekemon can be whatever you like, but stack auras.
I'm using Extra Phys, Elemental Resist, Energy Shield, Haste, any other modifiers are personal preference but some are nice like extra chaos damage, crits etc.

PokeSkill gems are generally:
Feeding Frenzy, Muster, Rage, Rapid Attacks and Loyalty. (Hulking and Supercritical for Big Monkey)

Stacking 4 - 5 Loyaltys makes you pretty hard to die
