Anyone know of a good alternative to the Lee 1937 cowboy jeans?

Got these Bronson 1937 something or other jeans recently and I really like them but they’re a size 31.
While I like the oversized fit, I’d like to find a pair that fits around the waist better in a 30 or maybe 29.
Bronson is all out and I can’t find any more used although I did do a little digging and found some used Lee 1937 cowboy jeans but they’re all size 31 too! Anyone know of any alternatives? I really like the extended seam around the fly with the extra rivet, and the higher rise with the buckle in the back.
Any help would be much appreciated 🙏

Brake House/Real Simon’s review/opinion (long winded)

Hello all! Long time lurker, first time poster! Haven’t seen many reviews of these and they’re pretty much the best price to quality ratio for a starter jacket so I thought I’d share my thoughts
I wanted something that was light enough to move in but hard wearing for my work. I’m a drummer and a warehouse worker so my last jacket had blown out at the shoulders and elbows after years of loading in and out of venues and rehearsal spaces with heavy hardware bags and drum cases.
I couldn’t afford a schott or anything being a starving artist and all so I looked around a little and bought a cheap Oakwood Classic jacket second hand on depop only to realize that I needed something more robust.
I looked at a lot of second hand jackets but couldn’t find anything with the right cut, weight, and lack of belt until I found Brake House.
I initially found them because I was interested in their engineer boots as I am looking for a second pair of boots to rotate with my iron rangers but their jackets caught my eye as well.
They had a lot of Schott style jackets as expected but a good selection of less motorcycle influenced styles as well. I really liked the look of the 1940s California Bears Car Coat so I ordered one in size small. I think it’s cool how it still has the wider lapels but no belt and less zippers. The pocket layout and lining also looked nice.
Almost immediately after ordering they reached out to confirm sizing so I sent back some photos and measurements of my old daily driver and they recommended I size up to a medium, which was $11 more. I checked their website and noticed a flash sale on that size and informed the customer service rep. They agreed to honor the sale price so I didn’t end up having to pay the up-charge and I got a few dollars off on top of that which was nice.

The fit is pretty spot on and is only a tad short in the sleeve length when I really extend my shoulders and elbows.
The leather feels thick and strong with a really nice grain and a very interesting soft texture. This is my first horse hide jacket and I was aware that it is a slightly different texture than cowhide but actually feeling it in person is quite the pleasant surprise. I love the herringbone lining as it is my favorite tweed pattern and the corduroy on the neck and cuffs is also quite nice. The zippers, snaps, and buckles all feel solid and smooth enough and I can’t really seem to find a flaw with my untrained eye. I really do think this is probably better than the Thursday offerings at a similar price as and is probably on par with master supply co I dare say but yall can correct me on that if you like.
I’ve worn it every day since May 21st so it’s really starting to feel nice and I’m noticing a few brown spots already peeking through. I plan on seeing many more as I wear this thing into the ground.

I will say that a lot of Brake House’s product descriptions and marketing do read a little like AI. Maybe they used AI to translate or edit but it is a little off putting. Lots of “-“, “:”, and “;” if you know what I mean and plenty of “it’s not this, it’s that” statements to go around.
Their saving grace in that aspect is their openness on the fact that they don’t make their products. Their jackets are made by a Chinese company Real Simon’s. Similar brand Crush on Retro also sells Real Simon’s as well as Jiashi and maybe some others but they aren’t as open about that fact. Brake House even provides some footage and promotional material of the conditions and practices at a Real Simon’s factory and it all seems fairly legit.
They don’t appear to provide any information on who makes their belts, jeans, or footwear though but hopefully we’ll see some in the future.
I attempted to order this coat on aliexpress as I had heard it could be cheaper and you had a better chance of getting one direct from the factory but they were out of stock. The fellow I messaged with on there did have some very helpful info on these jackets and the factories that make them. Apparently there’s a brown version of this jacket with an almost identical pattern but made by a different factory with different horse hide so it made sense to go with Brake House since they have stock ready to ship in the US and had photos including the Real Simon’s tag.

TLDR: I definitely would recommend. Brake House has great prices and great quality from what I can tell and seem to be overall worth it. The jacket I received is a great fit thanks to their customer service and great quality.
I expect to grab some engineer boots in the near future and possibly their two tone shearling bomber this winter after a closet clean out? If only Real Simon’s made a Horsehide peacoat 🤷‍♂️
