Long exposure on Pixel 10a?

Hello,

I've tried today to use the long exposure with my fresh Pixel 10a and Google Camera, but it does not seem to work. I hit the shutter button, and that's it, nothing more. No indication to keep the phone steady, and there is no frame visible in the gallery app.

This worked fine on my Pixel 8a.

So I guess the Pixel 10a is not fully supported yet, but I could also missed to install some Google package to make this work.

Any idea? Thank you!

Hello,

I arrived in Norway about a month ago for work with my wife and our 4-year-old daughter. Long story short, the main issue we’re facing right now is finding a place for her in a barnehage.

Here’s the situation:

- There are currently no available barnehage places. We may get more information starting August 1st, but we could also end up waiting indefinitely.

- We don’t know our position on the waiting list.

- The kommune told us there is a risk that we won’t get a place for the entire school year.

- I contacted the kommune several times by email in December, January, and February to ask about the application process, but I never received a response.

- We missed the application deadline because 1) we never received any information by email and 2) we were not yet living in Norway.

- My daughter does not speak Norwegian.

- We don’t have friends or relatives here, so we are completely on our own.

- My wife cannot look for a job because she has to stay home with our daughter all day.

- Private barnehager also depend on the kommune for placements.

So right now we’re stuck in a very uncertain situation, with the possibility of having no childcare at all for a full year. I can accept that immigration comes with challenges, but having my child isolated for a year, without social interaction or the opportunity to learn the language, is not something I will accept.

Is there any option or solution that I may have overlooked?

Hi everyone,

I arrived in Norway about a month ago and I’m trying to figure out how to eat well while keeping my budget under control. From what I’ve seen online, it seems like the best approach is to follow discounts and buy whatever is cheapest at each store.

How do you usually manage this? Is Oda a good option too?

Thanks!
