Cost of Rabies PEP Shot Initial

For those wondering about costs in the Houston area, this was my cost with BCBS. My question is about the pending insurance amount — could insurance still cover the remaining balance, or should I expect to pay that amount myself? Either way, it was a lot cheaper than I initially thought.

Also, after everything is finalized, can I still negotiate a cash deal with the hospital? For example, if I’m expected to pay $1,561, can I ask them to lower that amount if I pay it right away?

Hi,

I recently went to the Urgent care to get my rabies vaccine (pep shot) for my Day 3 shot and this was the EOB. I did not receive a bill for my rabies shot yet, but I did do a research on my code and it look like 90675 was coded for rabies and that I only had to pay my co-pay. Is this true?

From what I read everything was covered except for the co-pay. Any advice helps!

I'm starting to get into slabs slowly and have been using ALT. Recently, another vendor told me about CL, and I was interested in it until they told me about the 200 dollar fee, but if you have a PSA membership, it covers it. Does anyone have any opinion on this or any comparison?
