Cannot upgrade from 29617.1000 to any newer build, all upgrades fail with 0x0007042B - 0x2000D SAFE_OS during MIGRATE_DATA

I am seeking last minute help on an experimental canary next Channel, I cannot upgrade from 29617 to any newer build, same error always, my build is expiring in a few days. I am offering to share my installation error log and installation log. I wrote a Feedback Hub message a week ago, no response. No idea what to do when it expires.

Pruser, volali GIBS, ti to nedobrzdili a trefili blatník státní policie. Pruser, volali další GIBS tentokrát v dalším státním policejním autě.... Tož takový je život v Brně.

Pimax and SteamVR Foveated Rendering

Because Steam Frame had Foveated Rendering, we can expect in SteamVR support for this. Will Pimax make their headsets compatible with this standard?

SubZero Framework Edition, 0.1.0 now live

Hello,

I talked about my personal project SubZero Framework Edition for a while here.
This project was my 6 weekend passion project, and allows to monitor your Framework laptops more closely, and set fan curves more precisely. Also allows setting fan curves per fan on Framework 16, which was main point why I even made this.

Is this without bugs? No surely it will have bugs, but I hope I will manage to iron them out.
I am very excited for this project, and I can be little bit blinded. It was also my first project where I experimented with AI on larger scale, to deviate through my normal routines and learn new things more deeply, like DynamicData for Reactive programming.

Release 0.1.0 is now available with all source code on Github, for Windows x64 and Linux x64 users, arm64 is on the way too and hopefully in coming weeks.

https://github.com/TekuSP/SubZeroFramework

Please enjoy, and let me know on Github issues, if you find any issues. You also need to enable fan control in settings, this protection is there if there would be any bugs, to safely shutdown. Whole service is built on moto "Safely fail", so if system is shutting down, service is crashing, I will try put EC automatic fan control.

SubZero Progress Update

So I think I owe some progress explanation, I presented Subzero Framework Edition as my personal project 6 weeks back? Based on Framework-Dotnet, tool giving you C# layer for Framework System.

To be short, I set the bar too high, and now over designed and overcomplicated fan app to support EVERYTHING ANY FRAMEWORK EVER COULD.

Because I was declined to have separate fan support with Framework Control.

I also asked Framework for permission to use their logo and company name on software and got it....

I hope I will make my first public beta testing release next week. Whole project will be open source.

About AI, I started with absolutely deny to use AI for anything I know, but that made me to start learning new stuff and using AI there and correcting it on its mistakes and learning by being right.... So I have used Anthropic Claude with this. I will make full partially written with AI disclosure, but I code review everything and I will triple review before going to beta.

But in tldr, it's a quick control tool which also controls the fans with custom curves. Also gives you hardware information about your framework, some info about modules, all thermal sensors and their locations and all fans and their controls and behaviours....

My largest issue, every new window I make, I make with more experience, and that makes me rework the oldest window with that experience, which makes the new experience and I get better and better....it's a never ending cycle, so I am giving myself a deadline.

This is fully Windows and Linux compatible, with x64 and ARM64, thanks to UNO Platform and SKIA Renderer on Linux and WinUI3 on Windows.

SubZero Framework Edition - Use for Framework Dotnet

So I showed Framework-Dotnet two weeks back https://www.reddit.com/r/framework/comments/1sxi5xs/framework_dotnet_dotnet_port_of_rust/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button, and wanted to show peek of my Fan Control / System diagnostic app, SubZero Framework Edition.
I need to ask officially Framework for logo usage, and complete other tabs, like custom fan curves. It took me two weekends and its full of bugs, and a lot of things need to be still done, before I can even make alpha release.... But wanted to share personal project of mine.

Did you ever think about "I would love to write my own Framework control application" but do not have skill or need to learn RUST?
I present to you, dotnet-framework:

https://github.com/TekuSP/framework-dotnet

https://www.nuget.org/packages/FrameworkDotnet

https://preview.redd.it/7sfemhmi1txg1.png?width=939&format=png&auto=webp&s=beb9e351ef81cdf67d14fccb39a87cc36229d816

Fully functional .NET Library for Framework Laptops and Computers.

I have attempted to made FFI (To not affect original rust), but I am bad at Rust and I cheated with Copilot. God forbid me my sins. But please, someone, rewrite it better!

Of course, I made request to merge back to Framework Github: https://github.com/FrameworkComputer/framework-system/pull/320

I made in the past Fan Control application, SubZero for MSI Laptops, and I am cooking multiplatform, multi-fan control application in .NET, which will give you multiple fan curves for multiple temperature sensors, better than Framework Control.

And still run on official Framework drivers! Windows x64, Linux x64, Windows ARM64, Linux ARM64 supported!

I am open to suggestions, help, recommendations, ideas for desktop application. This is just library and test application.
