About to head on a trip.

So getting the essentials ready. Loaded some puzzle fare for the wife and kids on the 35xxh and on the cube I’ll be continuing my adventure on ff7 which I’m replaying for the millionth time. Having a case always comes in clutch for things like this.

About to go on a trip. Essentials first!

Glad I got these cases. About to load up some lighter fare on the 35xxh for the wife and kids but the cube is mine!

New to Ladder but having fun!

So I decided to take a break from the item farm wheel that is Single Player Offline.

Decided to just say gung ho and jumped into my very first ladder in ages and ages, and I have to say it is a lot of fun starting fully fresh with fresh everything to boot.

My first 48 hours were really interesting in that the game literally pointed me to MF pretty much straight off the rip. At level 7 or so I was fumbling around the Tower hunting the Countess when I kicked over a weapon rack and out popped a gull dagger. Sweet 100% mf right at the start! 2 levels later I was fumbling around the underground passage for giggles and a random mob dropped me a Nagel. It was prolly the worst roll on a Nagel I've ever seen but hell, I'll take it. More MF for me.

Forward to ACT III and I was wandering the Vane looking Lam Esen's tome when one of the uniques in there dropped a pair of Chance Guards. Oo Beat normal and got the runes in Cows to make a Rhyme shield and have been just having fun Magic Finding in CS and such gathering up lowbie set pieces. But I've about exhausted the level up game in Normal so I think today I will hurl myself head first into Nightmare. Hopefully I'll be able to upgrade a few more items while in Act I before having to fully Re-Spec my toon to better cope with the harder difficulty.

Overall fun, the only downside is I am on JST and on a Switch so it feels a bit deserted online.

First Impressions Nintendo Switch ES Lock level 93.

I’ll just list em out so folk can skim for what they need.

  1. ES damage has effectively been halved.
  2. Until you or it dies, your previously bound demon is still with you.
  3. If it had curse it now procs much much much less than before.
  4. The curse effectiveness is noticeably reduced even should it proc.
  5. Your demon is still tanky, but not like before. Narrow spaces where it can be mobbed by small creatures with nasty auras can and will kill it so play cautiously.
  6. Keep your distance from elite packs, and large groups at all times.
  7. Expect clear times in CS and the pit and etc to be noticeably increased.
  8. Play twice as cautiously in terror zones.
  9. The loot drops on heralds stink but the heralds themselves appear at a better cadence.
  10. Rely on your sigils and lethargy more. In fact pop a sigil ability when fighting now.
  11. The game seems to have gotten a small bump on visual and load time quality, it’s minor but you’ll appreciate it.
  12. Enjoy your previously bound demon while you can, once you or it end up pushing the daisies that’ll be all from them.

World stone shards in single player.

So I’ve found a number of these and want to use them. But when I hold down the button my character says it can’t be used. I’ve beaten every act with this character in hell. Is there a trick to terrorizing an act via one of these shards?
