I need some advice for perspective (?)…

My drawings are always just like that, just very flat.
I know, shadows help, but I can’t draw shadows, they are just my enemies 😭
Buy also poses, like that the cat looks into the “camera” or slightly next to it, I can’t do that.

Do you have any tips for me? At the moment I want to do shadows or head poses!

Also here is how I draw:

  1. I put a real picture of a cat in the pose I want
  2. I surround it with red how it looks with short fur
  3. I mark where the should be
  4. I add the fur with green
  5. I outline it all
  6. I put the eye
  7. I colour it all
  8. I do the background

I also do cats on grass. (I will send some pictures in the comments if that works)

ALSO: I don’t as for any advices to my design choices like the longer paws, the different snout or the fact that the cat doesn’t have a mouth. It will have a small mouth when you draw it from the front or something.

The acronym for Shoot from the hip

I don’t know SFTH that long and I have a big problem with the acronym “SFTH”. I ALWAYS think of “stfu” or something like that when I read it and it’s very disturbing 🥲
Do you guys have any ideas how I could get the “stfu” out of my mind and did you have such a problem too?

(Hope this doesn’t count as drama, but probably I’m overthinking too much again xD)

I love when Tom starts acting so much, but makes fun out of it at the same time

First of all idk which of the filters this is xD

Now about the other stuff:
I thought from the first long video I watched from SFTH that Tom acts “more naturally” than the others. Tom really feels it I think. The others feel the roles to, but you know what I mean? Tom is sometimes so much in his roles that he “awakes” when the scene ends.
Well I love this fact heh :3

It reminds me somehow of my dad lol, especially when Tom is like in the Genre Game “Exes” in the loooong video “Shoot From The Hip - HUGE | FULL COMEDY SPECIAL” (if you don’t find it, what I don’t think, I can send you a link)

Well what do you think about this? (Not that with my dad, it would be a bit* *🤏 creepy if you knew him)

Also, I hope you have a good time and never forget SFTH, it’s a great show :3

The small dog (like pic 1 + more) is Houki, a terrier-mix. She thinks she is the ruler of the universe and is always hungry 😂
The other dog (like pic 3 + more) is Ezra, a giant schnauzer. She is cuddly, playful and hungry and has a big nose. It’s perfect to boop it 🥰

Another art of mine, a not that good one..

I’m not very proud of the head… It’s too small and the eye looks like it’s only one colour :/

Please give me advices, so if you want you can write some!
BUT:
The longer paws and the bit different snout are design choices!
