Would rather see it go to someone who’ll actually put it to use than have it sitting around.

Any better ways to organize GoPro gear?

Still figuring out the best way to organize GoPro gear in this, anyone got a better setup?

Finally downsizing some of my gear setup.

This Pelican Air 1535 has been one of those cases that just works, lightweight, tough, and easy to travel with. Figured someone here might put it to better use on their drone setup than letting it sit around.

How do you actually know when gear is done?

Not talking manufacturer guidelines. I mean real life in the crag. The stuff that’s taken whips, weather, and way too many ‘one last try’ burns.

I’ve got pieces in my rack that are probably past their official retirement age, but they still feel fine. And that’s where it gets confusing.

Do you replace gear strictly by the rules, or only when it feels unsafe?

And what’s the oldest thing still on your rack you’re kind of pretending is still okay?

Finally downsizing the rack, figured these should probably see rock again.

Been reorganizing gear lately and realized I don’t really reach for these much anymore. Still oddly satisfying seeing a clean set of C4s laid out though. Action’s smooth, normal wear, and they’ve been stored dry the whole time.

Crazy how certain gear instantly reminds you of specific routes the second you see it again.

What’s the one piece of gear you swear you’ll never get rid of even though you barely use it anymore?

Been trimming my rack and realized these haven’t seen rock in a while.

Set of BD Camalot C4s (good range here, see pic). All in solid working order action is smooth, no issues with trigger wires. Just normal cosmetic wear from use.

Stored dry, never whipped on anything sketchy with them.

Figured I’d offer them here before tossing them up elsewhere. If you’re building out a rack or filling gaps, these could be useful.

Happy to answer questions / send more pics.

Not gonna lie, getting locked out of my RV once was enough for me.

After that I switched to this V4.0 keyless entry lock and it’s been one of those small upgrades that actually makes a big difference day to day. No more worrying about where the key is, no more “did I lock it?” moments, just punch in the code or use the remote and you’re in.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but it’s been solid. Install was straightforward, and it feels way better than the stock lock that came with my door.

Comes with the remote, backup keys, and everything shown. I’ve kept it in good shape.

If you’ve been thinking about switching or just tired of dealing with keys while traveling, I can pass this one along happy to share more details.

A while back I started organizing my gear into rugged waterproof cases (mostly Pelican Protector Cases style). At first it was just about keeping things neat and protected.

Didn’t think much of it, until I had to move everything in a hurry one day.

That’s when I realized: -Loose gear = chaos -Bags = fine, until they get wet or crushed -But hard cases? Grab, stack, go

What surprised me most wasn’t even the durability, it was how much faster I could actually think when everything had a place.

Now everything is split into categories: -Power & batteries -Tools -Documents -Grab-first” essentials

It’s not perfect though. The downside is weight and space… these things add up fast.

Still trying to figure out the best balance between: -mobility -protection -accessibility

Curious how others here are handling it:

Do you prefer soft bags, hard cases, or a mix?
