Brand New 17 Ultra took a bad fall 😭

My phone, encased in the basic photography kit case, fell screen-down from my pocket onto the road while I was riding my bike. Fortunately, the screen remained intact, though the rim surrounding it sustained some impact damage. It is disappointing that the official case offered no protective front lip. I have since inspected the device for any damage, and thus far, all functionalities, including the camera, appear to be working correctly. However, I have noticed a rattling sound when shaking the device. I am aware that the camera module typically produces some noise when shaken, but in this instance, there are two distinct sounds: a heavier, more palpable sound within the phone, and a separate, smaller rattle. I would appreciate it if other owners of this device could confirm whether they experience similar sounds. This would greatly alleviate my concerns that no further damage occurred, especially as the device was only two days old when the incident happened.

Xioami 17 Ultra with Photography Kit

Selling my official PTA approved Xiaomi 17 Ultra, complete with the original full box, charger, and the basic photography kit. The device is in perfect working condition with no functional flaws whatsoever, though it has some minor physical damage on the front frame from an accidental drop. The display screen itself, camera lenses, and back glass are entirely undamaged, and every feature functions flawlessly. Hand-to-hand deal is preferred so you can thoroughly inspect and test the phone in person, and serious buyers are welcome to reach out directly to finalize the price and location.

Yummy Boy Rant

I’m officially done with Yummy Boy. I’ve been going there for years, back when it was just this tiny space with barely three tables squeezed in. Back then, the food was incredible and super affordable. When a few vloggers posted about it and the place blew up, I was genuinely happy for them. They expanded the space and business took off, but honestly, success really became their downfall. As the crowds got bigger and the wait times got longer, the actual quality of the food just plummeted. I’ve tried giving them the benefit of the doubt for a long time. They do have polite service, I’ll give them that. I’ve literally pulled hair out of my food on four separate occasions, and every time they replaced the dish for free without making a fuss. But decent customer service can only carry bad food for so long.

My visit last weekend was the absolute final straw.

I ordered the crispy honey wings, which was literally the first dish I ever fell in love with there. They were completely inedible. The sauce was basically water, the batter was so thick and hard it felt like biting into a rock, and the chicken inside was bone dry. Just nasty.

The dynamite prawns used to be my other go-to, but they’ve completely ruined those too. First bite in, and all you taste is this cheap, generic mayo overpowering everything. Zero flavor balance.

Even the two chicken entrees we got were a huge letdown. The portions are still massive, I’ll admit that, enough that I brought leftovers home for late night snacks. But the chicken itself was so obviously not fresh. Massive dry boneless cuts that tasted like they’d been sitting around forever.

It’s just sad seeing a place you used to love scale up its business and completely sacrifice its kitchen standards and basic hygiene in the process. It was a good run, but I’m finally quitting Yummy Boy. If anyone has any good recommendations for good affordable Chinese options in Lahore, please let me know. Thankss!

Selling a few affordable options from my collection

Hey everyone!

I’m interested in selling a few pieces from my collection to clear out some box space for new incoming watches. All of these have been really well cared for.

Just for full transparency upfront: The MoonSwatch and the G-Shock are high-quality clones, which is reflected in the low prices.

Here is the lineup:

Omega x Swatch MoonSwatch — SOLD

Casio G-Shock "CasiOak" GA-2100 All Black — Rs. 8,500

Super clean look with only a few very faint scuffs on the crystal from gentle wear. This one comes with its complete box.

Superdry Urban (Black/Gold Dial & Brown Leather) — Rs. 5,000

Almost scratch less. The case and gold-accented dial are absolutely pristine, and the leather strap has barely any wear on it.

Naviforce Sports Quartz (Grey/Black Dial) — SOLD

I'm based in Valencia Lahore and would highly prefer a quick hand-to-hand deal in a public spot. That way you can check out the watches in person before buying. If you're from another city, I can ship via TCS/Leopards at the buyer's expense (advance payment required).

Drop a comment or send me a DM if you're interested!
