Low total test and lower end free test situation
I salute you all. I’m male, 26 years old , 184 cm ( 6’05 feet tall ), 96 kg ( 211 lbs ), living in Europe and I’m fighting with symptoms of what I thought just lack of rest. For quite some time when in the gym I always felt like I couldn’t perform well enough and consistent enough. I packed some muscles over the years of hitting the gym regularly but I don’t know if that was because of me just having the ambition of doing it or other causes. From the age of 22 I’ve started working in law enforcement (even though I’m military personnel) and the godly awful work schedule with irregular rest between night shifts and day shifts left me drained and couldn’t progress in the gym as I couldn’t be consistent, lacked the energy from time to time and was hard packing on some muscle ever since joining without packing fat as well. I also couldn’t lose the fat around my belly even though my arms and legs would get quite lean. I did a blood test for free test, total test and HGH out of curiosity (did it in the morning, empty stomach and sleeping 8 hours) and the results appears to be the following:
TOTAL TEST: 8.01 nmol/L (or 231 ng/dL)
FREE TEST: 15.4 pg/mL
HGH: 0.215 ng/mL.
Has anyone got in the past similar results ? What did you do to overcome it or at least what I can do. I know that those are just a few tests but that’s what I have right now figured out. I also want to point it out that I think I went into a period of overtraining in the past couple of months. In the morning of the blood tests I was in my 8th day of rest as a deload phase.
Pic for with my current body composition (in the morning, empty stomach, abs flexed so I the fat around my belly can be better seen):
