post wedding anxiety? bummed about bouquet

I got married a couple days ago. It was more like an elopement/very micro wedding. So no day of coordination and it seems like despite my best attempt at being on schedule and slowing time down, it was still a rush. I had a beautiful bouquet and it had some hanging elements to it. But after some photos, I realized I had been holding my bouquet backwards. Looking back at my ceremony video I definitely was and don’t think I have any photos with it facing the right way.

The bouquet is so beautiful and I got pictures of it alone. But feeling bummed out that it wasn’t captured in any professional photos and that no one myself included noticed to suggest to reposition for photos at least. It wasn’t super obvious which is front or back but the more full buds and hanging parts make it clear to me that they should’ve been facing forward.

Is there anyone else that did this and it ended up not looking too noticeable in photos? Sorry if there’s a better group to post this in but couldn’t find one for post wedding discussion.

Admitted to drinking and now avoiding me

My partner of 13 years has had an issue with drinking for a good chunk of our relationship. He just can’t handle it. Either it’s drinking too much and/or it turns him into a very difficult person who doesn’t make good decisions. I thought he stopped a couple years ago. But there’s been many moments over the years where he would leave the house for even just an hour and come back slurring his speech, moving slowly, and being wobbly. Anytime I would ask if he’d been drinking it’s met with a reaction like I was crazy and stupid to ask.

Anyway he came home just like that once again the other day. It all suddenly just clicked for me. When I asked him about drinking he tried very hard to evade the question and even gaslight me into thinking I was picking a fight over something I wasn’t even talking about. But then he admitted it. Initially he said he doesn’t have the energy to argue about it and that he doesn’t know what I want him to say.

Ever since the (couple days ago) he is just avoiding me pretty much at all cost and all he can say is that he’s sorry and that he’s not ready to talk about anything. Other than that he has texted me to tell me he was going to “a meeting” today and yesterday.

Is this shame? Am I being punished? Maybe I’m not but sure feels like it. He also mentioned he just doesn’t want to make things worse. But I don’t know. I feel pretty devastated and betrayed for many reasons. I’m trying to respect the space he needs but it’s like any of my experiences never matter and has to take the backseat.
