Created something for you

A Little Context

I’ve been following non-dual philosophies such as Kashmir Shaivism and Advaita Vedanta for quite some time, and for the past two months, I’ve been working on this website as a way to explore and present these ideas.

If you come across any bugs, inconsistencies, or things that could be improved, please don’t hesitate to point them out. I’d genuinely appreciate the feedback.

I’m also reposting this because GitHub was down today, and I didn’t want that to affect your experience with the website.

Thanks for checking it out, and I hope you enjoy exploring it. 🙏

Want to know about your perspective (Discussion)

This laptop (left one) seems to be everywhere lately, especially among students in india. Looking at the price history, though, I noticed something interesting.

If the rising component costs RAM, storage, and other parts were the primary reason behind higher laptop prices, I'd expect similar pricing trends across different models and product tiers. Instead, the contrast between these two Lenovo laptops is striking.

The ₹4.7 lakh Legion Pro 7 remains remarkably stable, with only minor price adjustments over time. Meanwhile, the ₹1.2 lakh LOQ shows frequent jumps, discounts, voucher campaigns, and promotional pricing. Its price graph looks much more discrete than continuous, with sudden spikes and drops rather than gradual movement.

That doesn't necessarily prove anything on its own, but it does make me skeptical of the idea that component costs are the sole driver of pricing. If RAM and other components are becoming more expensive, why is the volatility concentrated in the mid-range segment while the flagship model remains comparatively stable?

To me, it suggests that demand, inventory management, and pricing strategy may be playing a larger role than many people realize. When a laptop can regularly receive ₹20k–₹40k discounts, it's fair to ask how representative the original price actually was.

My concern is that many students are making purchase decisions based on discounts, voucher hunting, and FOMO rather than long-term considerations. A few years down the line, some may realize how unfriendly many modern laptops have become from a consumer perspective: limited repairability, restricted upgrade paths, reduced hardware ownership, limited OS flexibility, dual-boot complications, dependence on vendor software, and uncertain long-term driver support. Those things rarely matter on the day of purchase, but they often matter a lot once the excitement of the discount has faded.

Curious to hear what others think. Am I missing something, or does this pricing behavior seem odd to anyone else?

Basics of Advaita Vedanta Website ( Final post )

Final post regarding the website I created

I’ve gone through and implemented almost every suggestion and piece of feedback I received from all of you. Honestly, the responses, ideas, and encouragement helped shape the project far more than I expected, so thank you for that.

At this point, I feel satisfied with the overall design, so I probably won’t be making any major visual changes further. From now on, I’ll mainly keep updating and improving the content itself as I continue learning more, because learning really has no end.

This project started as something very personal to me, and seeing people connect with it has genuinely meant a lot. I hope you all like the final design version of it.

I’m planning to buy a new laptop soon and I’m currently looking for a configuration with an Intel Core i9 HX processor and RTX 5070 Ti 12GB.

Most of my work is related to FreeCAD and coding. I’m currently using an RTX 3050 4GB laptop, and while it has been decent for general use, it starts to struggle when I work with detailed or complex models.

I’d like to know where I can find this configuration at a reasonable price in India, and whether it makes more sense to buy now or wait a little longer. Current laptop prices feel unusually high.

If you’re a dealer or seller, feel free to share any available options or offers.
