I need help with creating my idea

hi everyone, I’ve been doing cross-stitch/ needlepointing for about a year now and have worked on many projects. I started with the goal of one day making a stocking. I believe i am now ready but I have no clue how to make my pattern/ template. I have only ever used patterns I found online but I want the stocking to be personalized. I have a rough sketch of what I want it to like like but I am a terrible artist and am even worse at things like shading. I have no clue how to execute and transfer my idea from my head/ the rough sketch, to an actual template.

any advice would be very much appreciated! thank you!

(I have attempted to use stitchly but it has not helped me much because I am a terrible artist and have no talent there)

I need advice please!

hello everyone! I made a rookie mistake and did a sweetening spell on an avoidant person. I was intending for them to open up more, I now know I should’ve done a communication spell. but what’s done is done. the one I learned was meant to take 5 days to see it’s affect, well 7 days later i saw the girl in person and we got in a big argument after i jokingly told her “I feel like you hate me sometimes” and it upset her heavily, to the point we’re no longer speaking despite me trying to Talk about things. we’ve never once even argued before and the reason i wanted her to open up more is because she is incredibly kind and caring but keeps everything inside. she also told a mutual friend she was interested in me but was too scared to pursue anything because of outside opinions.

anyways, I’m not sure what to do because I value her and even just having her as a friend is an incredible experience. I hate that we’re arguing and am wondering if there is something I can about this or if I just have to let it go?

Advice for someone wanting to start wearing makeup

hi, I’m 24 but Ive never worn makeup before because I’m the only daughter and my mom never wears make up so I never had anyone to teach me. I’ve recently been wanting to start wearing it, especially for events and things like family photos or things like that. The only thing I own is mascara and eyebrow gel so I know how to use those but nothing else. I don’t know where to begin with buying stuff, matching foundation color, how to apply anything besides mascara, etc.

any help at all would be appreciated! thank you so much!

I need advice on healing

Hi everyone, I’m hoping this post is appropriate for this thread and follows the rules. I read over them and didn’t see it saying this post won’t but I just don’t want to make sure because other posts are about specific experiences with a therapist. I just need advice, as I do not have a therapist because they’re too expensive.

Anyways, I’m going through a really tough time right now. Me and my gf of 4 years broke up last month, then two days later my grandpa died, then a week after that I lost my job and in the same week, my parents sold my childhood home and my grandparents home is being sold as well (my grandma died last year). I feel like I’ve just been experiencing a lot of loss in a very short time and idk how to handle it all. additionally, I found out yesterday that not only am I still grieving my relationship, my ex began dating someone new only 2 weeks after we broke up. so now I’m grieving the last 4 years but also realizing it meant nothing to her and also comparing every single thing about myself to her new gf. it’s killing me inside and out and I don’t know what to do or how to handle my emotions or anything. I just need some advice please

also, I did go ahead and block her on everything but it is very hard to not just unblock her for a quick peek. any advice on how to stop doing that would also be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I will be going back to college in August to get a second bachelors degree. I had no clue what I wanted to do with my life the first time I was in college so I went with what I thought would be the safest route. However, I’ve realized I don’t want to go into that field. I decided to go back to college and get a degree in something I actually want to do.

funding this though is my biggest concern. I don’t even know where to begin looking for scholarships, everything the school offers clearly lists second degree students are not eligible. I don’t really want to take out even more loans, or at least not as much as I’m anticipating needing to.

any advice is very helpful!
