Incredible production and costume values!

Just watched Problem at Sea. Loved the production and wardrobe values. All the men wore white linen suits for their excursion as was the protocol for the days.

I've always loved vintage clothing, and would love white dress and hat worn by Ann Firbank.

My first night of my Home Brew was a disaster.

It's been six days and I am still cringing over my first real DM experience. I did a one Cthulhu one shot, Uncle Timothy's Will that was fun.

I created a Home Brew in Ireland or thought I did. An hour and a half into it and I was through most of my prepared stuff. I ended up yanking something I had planned for the next session. The group I play with are awesome players, heavily into role play, and usually leap into combat. They avoided every bit of combat so there was some lost time. You know it's a sad play when fighting leprechauns is the high point. To be fair, I tweaked the leprechauns actions so it was fun and challenging.

The group was really reassuring, but I feel it was dismal.

Anyhow, I am tweaking my campaign and would love suggestions on how to make to more fun. I'm going to try and offer a crawl of a haunted mansion so they can find items to get to their next destination.

Starting with a Home Brew was a big mistake.

Help me, Obi Wan Kenobi!

Just realized that The Guns of Navarone is a quest!

I've been working on creating a Homebrew and realized suddenly that the old movie The Guns of Navarone is actually a quest set in WWII. An elite and varied group sets out to target a Nazi missile site on a Greek island.

Need help for two sick tourists in Edinburgh!!!

We're getting back into Edinburgh tomorrow and my husband lost his voice several days ago and may have an earache, and my son may be getting a cold. Fun times.

What are our options for doctor's visit/health care? Happy to pay out of pocket. We're staying near Arthur's Seat.

Thanks

Extra in Edinburgh! Need suggestions please.

Due to some mishaps with American Airlines, we're going to have an extra day in Edinburgh. Yay. We're doing a Castle Alwyne tour on on our last day, have already done the castle in Edinburgh as well as the area.

Would you recommend taking a train somewhere and any suggestions where for the experience or renting a car for the day for the flexibility?

Thanks for any help. Love Scotland and we plan to come back.
