I drove 86 miles to get to Target and THIS was the Transformers section.
i felt like complaining.

i felt like complaining.
I finally got Onslaught and on the first day broke a tab on the skeleton frame arms.
Update: Hasbro Customer Care offered a refund of the original purchase price ($99.99) or a replacement (if in stock) if I send my broken figure in first.
I’d return my copy and accept the refund check, except it’s really hard to find the figure still in stock selling at its original price. I’ve seen places selling the figure for $148.99 already. Neither Hasbro Pulse nor Hasbro Customer Care have the figure in stock anymore.
I’m so frustrated by the FamilySearch app and seeing my ancestors constantly getting changed, deleted, replaced, etc. by random people. I get that it is free and I’m getting my money’s worth.
I’m just an average person of very limited means stuck in the United States and trying to discover who my “people” really were (and still are) and where they really lived. I’d really like to have a “people”. I have to believe I have a connection, however tenuous, to something better than a 3rd world country with nuclear weapons and the 2nd Amendment.
Are there any more scholarly, historical, and/or objective genealogy services or resources out there on the inter-web that won’t have me giving up basic necessities in order to be able to pay for them?
Can anyone help me understand how the Church says sinning offends the Holy Ghost, but also choosing to be offended is a sin? (I’m dealing with a sanctimonious, self-righteous mother-in-law right now.) Thank you.
I dunno, something amazing, I guess?
As of 10:45am on Thursday June 25th, Age of the Primes Onslaught is available again for pre-order on Amazon, with a release date of July 21st. https://a.co/d/0fERh5F1
These are all screenshots from today (8 June, 2026).
So what is usually a relatively in-depth discussion on the application of gospel principles is, this Sunday, a reading of a First Presidency message about how members’ political affiliations should not be looked down on or used as a measure of their worthiness , and a pre-recorded message from Elderly White Male 1 and Elderly White Male 2 on how awesome the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution are.
I had to leave.
First, Ezra Taft Benson would turn over in his grave hearing this talk of tolerance over “creeping socialism and godless communism“. Benson also taught from the pulpit in the October 1961 General Conference that "No true Latter-day Saint and no true American can be a socialist or a communist or support programs leading in that direction."
Second, to hold up the Constitution as a tool used by God to enshrine religious liberty completely dismisses that document’s treatment of women, indigenous peoples, and those “children of God” in literal slavery within the United States.
”Prophets of God” indeed 🙄.
I’m essentially a social worker. My time is split between working at my desk and meeting clients in the community. Time management is a big component of my role, as well as meeting established productivity requirements and deadlines.
But I haven’t had a good night’s sleep in over 10 years. As Marcus Aurelius said, I feel like “a wisp of soul carrying a corpse” and that’s on a good day. My working and short term memory are shot. Trying to look back at the workday feels like trying to remember a dream. My motivation is super low, and I’m not eating much (but that might be for other reasons).
I don’t even know where to begin with asking for an accommodation, short of asking if I can take 3-hour “old man naps” in the middle of the day. What kind of accommodation should I ask for?
