Pre med

Hi I’m a senior applying this cycle. Do you find UF is too competitive for a high gpa for a pre med? Are classes too big and research hard to get? Do you wish u went to a smaller private school (like u Miami or Tulane)

Premed research

I’m interested in attending uf as a premed. I’m wondering if research is truly as easy to get as the tour made it seem or is it hard? Can u get good research or just “clean test tubes”? Thanks.

Should I Ed or ea?

I plan on studying predental or pre med.

1420 sat, 3.9 uw and 4.45 weighted
Class rank is 15/660
12 aice/ap classes by graduation
President of clubs and have impact.

My main question is this. I really want UM but also think if I EA I can get more aid. But I’m worried if I EA I could get waitlisted and I just wanna get in. UM is 10000 percent my top choice tho.

Premed Toxicity

Hi all,
I am a rising senior thinking wether or not to apply ED to TU. I know that Tulane has a very large premed presence. I’m wondering if there’s a toxic cutthroat scene due to this or nah? Thanks in advance!!!

Pratik Vangal

Anyone who watches Pratik Vangal, do you find he is a fear-mongering influencer (similar to Ivy League Roadmap), or does he genuinely want to just tell the truth? Do you find that watching his content may negatively impact us in any way? Thanks!

AP credit or Retake?

Hi all!

I'm a rising senior and am wondering if I should retake the classes I got AP credit for to help give me a gpa ciushion and a better base in the subjects. Since I wanna be premed, would it be worth my time retaking these classes to strengthen my base for the MCAT or just skip the classes? Thanks!

Professor Accents?

Hi all! I keep hearing that in college a lot of professors have really harsh accents and it’s hard to understand what they say? Is this true for UF, more specially for premed classes! Thanks!!

UF, UMiami, or Tulane?

Hi everyone, I am a rising senior in high school and and very confident I can gain admission to all these schools. I’m stuck debating if I should attend a smaller private or larger public school. Please let me know your thoughts. Money isn’t an issue for me thankfully.
