I’ve been holding since 2021 at $185 a share, considering breaking even or riding it higher. I don’t think it’s unlikely we see $300 in the next few years.

I’m going to Santa Cruz Island on Memorial Day. I’m wondering if it’s worth cancelling due to the Santa Rosa fire and I don’t wanna be inhaling ash the whole time. Anyone else in similar situation?

Title. Want to hike to the summit and get the earliest tram as possible. Online is sold out for the morning

This might be a stupid question so please bear with me.

I’m trying to do the big 3 peaks in SoCal. I just finished baldy last weekend. I want to do San Jacinto next.

It seems like there are 3 main ways to do it. C2C, Tram to peak, or go from Idyllwild.

C2C seems a bit ambitious for me rn so I’m going to take the tram up and do the 12 mile out and back from there.

Does the tram route still count as “doing” San Jacinto, or do most people consider it a cheat? Curious where the community lands on this.

Lou Correas voting record on ICE and spending looks good to me. Only red flags are missing a critical DOGE vote and making criticizing Israel antisemitic. But I will never agree with everything a candidate does anyway. The primary challengers seem interesting but they don’t seem very popular. I also have no idea who any of the school people are. Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts below.

FYI ive only lived here about 8 months and I consider myself in between progressive and moderate democrat. But I would vote for someone to the left or right of me if it meant destroying republicans.

My 6 month old cat had a bad fever last weekend so I took him to an after hours vet and dropped $1k. They couldn’t find a reason for it so he got sent home with fluids and antibiotics. I’m now signing up for pet insurance and looking around for options. I got a good quote from Lemonade. He is now back to normal but I’m worried if he gets a fever 6 months from now, Lemonade won’t reimburse due to “pre existing conditions”.

Getting my AOW soon and they emailed me saying I need to buy certain items at shop before the course starts. This includes slate, reel, torch, SMB and knife. I already have a knife so I was just wondering if it’s usually better to buy stuff online in case the shop overcharges. Especially since this stuff isn’t like boots or fins where they have to “fit”.
