It says online the MKW stands for ‘Mid Kent Windows’ an Engineering/Industrial company. The cog design reflects a local branch of The Inner Wheel and international women’s association closely associated with Rotary clubs. The item likely celebrates an anniversary, presidential term or special corporate project. Signed by the glass artist, the Elizabeth is clear, also the middle letter being a J and I’m quite sure it’s the last name of Green

Which TGTG pick up is best of these 3 (IYO). 1st is a Morrisons Fuel station, 2nd a Costa inside Tesco & 3rd a Costa Drive Thru?

This is just a bit of fun as I picked up 3 surprise bags over 3 days. I can’t decide which was best. I don’t drive and walked a long way for two of them for exercise. Not a single item I don’t eat either! (No waste). I have some of this frozen to enjoy later. The Costa Korean Spicy Chicken box meals are soooo good 😋 My spice limit almost haha but I’d 100% buy one again

Found this nice quality beech (I believe) wood, chunky bowl made from a single block of wood. It has ‘Collezione’ on a little chrome plate. Bought for £1.50, I just liked the quality and the nice wood

Pic 1 is the truest colour, others were taken with my desk lamp on. It’s a very beech looking colour with a light golden sheen, when seen by eye & moved/tilted. I didn’t know what was at all, google reckons an Antipasti, bread, cheese or polenta dish. Says they’re often used as a valet dish or display/centre piece too. I’ll be using it as a writing bureau/desk type item. I have no idea if it was a good find or if a bargain at £1.50

Any else seen a spiralled Parker 45 feed before? More than 300 P45’s restored and it’s a first time for me! It’s a French ‘Custom’ pen, so perhaps a French design quirk I’ve simply not seen before 🤔

It a Parker 45 Custom GT. Gold plated cap and black body, a made in France pen. I wonder why they chose to spiral the feed instead of the normal ones that have straight feeds… I’ll see how it performs, once the pen is done and I have spare time

This was my first TGTG from Costa Drive Thru for £3.50. Good deal 😋

I had to take the pic real fast as the weather kept starting to rain and I was walking. I’ll be honest with this and give you a laugh.. I googled ‘How do I collect a TGTG through a drive thru on foot?’ I don’t drive but it was inside to collect of course. Great & friendly staff there. The tomato & mature cheddar croissants are very nice with béchamel sauce inside too

Showed this wee little Parker ‘Lady Duofold’ some love & restored her. Far rarer than the ‘Slimfold’s so, I just thought I’d show her

It looks so dinky next to most pens but is a lovely little thing. Oh nooo… I’ve been lured into the trap again! Think I’ll be keeping this one 🤣 (Some I don’t I promise haha). Don’t really see these much anymore

It was a general restore mostly but now has a nice clear sac, no scratches, a glossy shine (whilst keeping its clear imprints of course) and the smashed blue end jewel has been replaced too. Writing very well with its medium 14k nib. It measures just a tiny bit under 4.5 inches!! The baby of the Duofold family ☺️

Restoring vintage Parker converter’s day it was here! 7 of them saved and ready for use again 😃

Some can be quite a pain, but happy to save them!
