History nerd visiting your fine city next weekend and wondering what area is better to take in the confluence of the Columbia River and Pacific? The Oregon side, or the Washington side? I’m short on time so unfortunately can’t do both. TIA!
Recently upgraded my internet to TDS Fiber 1 Gig service. I noticed that when selecting a WiFi signal I had the option for 5G, which I’ve selected (my router sits next to my tv). The second option for WiFi was 2.4G.
To the problem; I’ve noticed a slight glitch when watching TV, and the picture seems to focus in on say a batter in baseball but the grass (or other items in the background, if not baseball) is more pixelated.
Most tv/sports is watched via YTTV. Do I need to drop down to 2G? Or adjust the settings on the tv? I’m running a standard picture that I customized to my liking.

The latest. He sustained an elbow/arm injury playing Pickleball that sent him to the ER for X-Rays and has kept him on the shelf for a month. The day after it happened (unknown to me) I called him to shoot the shit. Of course he didn’t tell me this when I spoke to him. Unprompted he made up a story that his my mother’s told him he was too good for their group and they didn’t want him to play in their joint session. A few days later I found out from my Mom that he had an ER visit.
My local fox station broadcasts in 720p, which makes the quality awful (I’ve been watching baseball the last few weeks). It seems the new fox app for sports defaults to my stations 720p quality and not 4k.
My question is for the World Cup. Is it better to subscribe to YTTV 4k offering, or should I trust the Fox Sports App? I guess option C is to watch on Telemundo. TIA!
