Hi, first post here. I’m a 25m currently going through a divorce. I don’t have my kids tonight and was wondering if anyone knows of anything to do tonight? Moved to the area a few years ago, haven’t been out much and no friends in the area :(
My (24f)wife told me (25m) last week she wanted a divorce. She wanted a divorce for not feeling heard on top of us both having personal issues we need to work on communication being one of them. She said she isn’t happy. I pleaded with her the first few days to try to work this out together. She said she made her mind. We have been together for 8 years total, married for 2.5 years. We have a 6 year old son and 1 year old daughter together. She is currently filling out applications for apartments, one of which she was accepted into. I plan to move back in with my parents once our lease expires next month. She said she still loves me, I still love her. This last week we have been acting normal still. We have been hanging out with the kids together, with just each other, sex, dinner. Last night I went to stay at my parents house because this week I have been feeling very torn. Like I love her so I want to see her and spend time with her but my brain tells me that this is happening and I need to take a step back. I’m currently going to therapy to help work on myself as well as to just talk to someone.
We agreed on 50/50 custody and not getting lawyers involved. Divorce papers are filled out just not turned in yet.
I feel very lost right now. I currently have no friends. We moved to a different state 6 years ago with my family and I have not even tried to make any. Since moving I have been worrying about work, my gf/wife, and kids. I don’t know how to make friends anymore.
When I’m ready to date again, how do I even do that? How do you find women to date?Would anyone even date someone in my case?
