An alternate idea for the Star Wars sequel trilogy: making Snoke matter and making the whole trilogy about how Palpatine returned

So I haven't fleshed this out fully and I don't know if i ever will since I already made a different sequel trilogy rewrite, but for a while one of the hardest parts of rewriting the sequel trilogy for me has been what to do with Snoke to the point that I previously just cut him and replaced him with Maul. We get zero context for who he is and he's kinda just a knock off Palpatine. But recently, I got an idea.

So Snoke in this version would be someone who worked closely with Palpatine as one of his advisors or guards. The First Order is established from the beginning as a front for a sith cult, they spend the first movie searching for some artifact that is revealed at the end of the first movie to contain Palpatine's spirit.

throughout the second movie, A new clone body is being prepared for Palpatine to possess. The plan does succeed by the end of the movie, but the clone body is notably weaker than Palpatine's original body, to avoid undercutting the end of Return of the Jedi and to further explain Palpatine's goal of absorbing Rey and Kylo Ren's power or possessing one of them. Palpatine then kills Snoke which leads into a much more fleshed out version of the Rise of Skywalker

If you were put in charge on specific side of the MCU (mutant, street-level, cosmic, or supernatural) and can do whatever you want without being tied down by the rest of the universe, what side do you choose and what does your slate look like.

Me personally, i would do the Street-Level side. for my version i'm continuing off the actual MCU but you can do whatever you want.

Spider-Man: Darkest Night - after ridding himself of the Symbiote, Peter Parker has to deal with it now going to Mac Gargan, who seeks revenge on Spider-Man as Venom. Miles Morales is introduced in a supporting role, the movie ends with him being bit by the Spider.

Black Widow and Hawkeye - Kate Bishop and Yelena Belova cross paths going after the same crime syndicate run by Madame Masque and team up

Spider-Man: Sinister Dawn - Mr Negative forms the Sinister Six including Vulture, Scorpion, Shocker, Boomerang, and Prowler. Miles develops his powers and its revealed that the Prowler is his uncle, Aaron Davis, who is then killed by Mr. Negative. The two Spider-Men team up to defeat the Sinister Six and then Peter retires, passing the mantle to Miles.

Heroes for Hire - a new series spinning off of Daredevil: Born Again focusing on Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones with various characters from across the street-level MCU appearing as guest stars in certain episodes such as Daredevil, Hawkeye, and Black Widow.

I think i figured out what Nightcrawler's role is in Doomsday,

Nightcrawler felt like a weird character to include in the main cast. sure, he's iconic, but Alan Cumming's portrayal of him was only in one movie so he hardly feels like a mainstay. There is a pretty prominent theory that the X-Men have been destroying other universes to save their own, and Nightcrawler is someone i just don't see going along with that plan. So my theory is that he actually defects from the X-Men to warn the other heroes, i really do think there should be internal conflict within the teams, not just between them.

My pitch for a West Coast Avengers show

After the events of Secret Wars, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine has begun working with damage control to hunt down Wonder Man. Valentina sends the remaining New Avengers after them, Bucky and Red Guardian have at this point either died, retired, or simply taken a step back from the team, what exactly happened to them doesn't really matter. but the other members are sent after Wonder Man, they break into Simon's house to capture him but soon find that he's not a threat and never even wanted to have these powers. Yelena convinces the rest of the team to stand down, they know that if they dont bring him in, damage control will arrive to do the job themselves. so the five of them run away. they know they need a good lawyer, so they call She-Hulk. she defends Simon in court and since there's no real evidence simon has powers, she manages to get the case dropped. but they know Valentina will be after them, so Yelena calls Kate Bishop, who sets up a place for them to live together, which is where episode 1 ends.

Episode 2 begins with the flashback from Wonder Man of a young Simon watching the original Wonder Man movie in a theater except it reveals a young Peter Quill in that same theater watching the movie as well. we then transition to peter in present day as we catch up on him living with his grandfather and catching up on how the world has changed since he's been gone. after watching the remake of wonder man, he ends up meeting Simon at a convention, the two of them talk and bond over their experience with the original wonder man but then Simon loses control of his powers and accidentally knocks peter unconscious. panicked, Simon takes peter to the west coast avengers' home. the team are obviously confused as despite him being a famous hero in space, star-lord hasn't made much of a name for himself on earth. as Simon explains the situation, Peter wakes up and Simon introduces him to the rest of the team.

From here the show follows them adjusting to their lives living together, much like Wonder Man, much of the middle of the show isn't really a superhero show, focusing more on developing the dynamics between the characters. Kate and Yelena's bond develops, US Agent is the only one taking things seriously, Star-Lord has to catch up on modern earth culture, and everyone has to keep Bob from unleashing the Void. The Void probably wouldn't come out in season 1 just to avoid a repeat of Thunderbolts*.

There would be an overarching story in the background about Valentina and Damage Control hunting the team, but that's mostly in the background. I imagine it ends with Simon's powers being outed to the public but She-Hulk defends him in court and manages to get the Doorman clause repealed

ive come to realize my biggest concern for Avengers Doomsday is broadly that they'll essentially treat the teams as singular characters who all think and act the same.

Because they have so much to handle in this movie, I'm worried they're essentially going to group the characters by team. If they're really going to go the "heroes fighting heroes" route, it shouldn't just "Avengers vs Thunderbolts* vs X-Men", there should be internal conflict within the teams as well.

My optimistic prediction for Avengers: Doomsday

What i think the best version of Avengers Doomsday could be while still staying in line with what we know.

the movie begins on Earth-828 with The Fantastic Four being approached by Doctor Doom, their universe is being threatened by an incursion so Doom and the Fantastic Four take their multiversal ship to earth-616 just as the incursion hits them. they land in Wakanda where they are found by Shuri and M'Baku, Shuri recruits the help of Namor, as the Incursion threatens Talokan as well. the Thunderbolts arrive to investigate and find out that the Fantastic Four are from another universe that has been destroyed. So they decide to help them. They gather at the Watchtower, where they also call Sam's Avengers team including Falcon, Captain Marvel, War Machine, Thor, Ant-Man, and Shang-Chi. Sam realizes that Valentina is no longer actually in control of the Thunderbolts* and agrees to work with them. Yelena calls in Kate Bishop, who tells Kamala and Cassie to stay behind while she joins the rest of the heroes.

Loki approaches Steve Rogers, asking him to return believing his leadership is needed. Steve looks at his Captain America suit, but we cut away before we see his response to Loki teleporting the heroes to him, with Steve there as well. the others dont trust Loki at first but Thor vouches for him as he's seen his redemption. Loki sends the heroes to earth-10005 as an incursion is about to occur between that universe and 616. Kamala and Cassie don't listen to Kate and recruit America Chavez to open a portal to follow them.

the X-Men fight the other heroes with the team probably having more members than revealed so far to make the fight more even, one of this members is Monica Rambeau who Captain Marvel recognizes, remembering she was stuck in that universe at the end of the Marvels. the X-Men reveal that Doom was the one who told them they had to destroy 616, playing both sides in order to get them to fight each other and while they were distracted, he drained Franklin Richards of his power and teleports to Loki. Steve Rogers is also revealed to actually be an Illusion created by Loki, in a flashback its revealed that Steve refused to give up his happy life, but he did want to help, so he suggested creating an Illusion of him to inspire the heroes. The reveal leaves the heroes devastated however instead of giving up, they rally behind Sam Wilson, who has proven himself as the new Captain America.

Sentry unleashes his power to push Earth-616 away and stop the incursion. The heroes then arrive to confront Doom, Doom fights Sentry and ends up in the Void where he faces all of his worst memories, this sequence reveals Doom's backstory. Doom then breaks through the void and kills Loki, taking his place and becoming God Emperor Doom, he then creates battleworld which leads to Secret Wars

Sadie Sink is playing a clone in Brand New Day

ok hear me out: so popular rumor is that Sadie Sink's character in Brand New Day is Jean Grey, but that doesn't really make sense. there's a lot going on in this movie and introducing a random X-Men character with nothing to do with Spider-Man doesn't really make sense. so what if she's actually playing a female clone of Peter, kinda like ultimate Jessica Drew, the Jackal is rumored to be one of the movie's main villains and there seems to be an underlying theme of science and genetics between Bruce Banner and Peter's new mutation. what if the reason Peter gets organic webbing is in some sort of reaction to meeting a clone of himself, who possibly already has organic webbing. in the trailer, its shown that she remembers Peter, and it would kinda make sense for her to have his memories if she is him. and since peter basically doesn't exist and she has nowhere to go, he decides to take her in as his sister. which also explains why she'd be close enough with peter to return with him in Secret Wars
