For context, I had this idea on the bus to work this morning. Have a simic archetype that is focused on the clone mechanic and making copies of creatures. [[Biovisionary]] would be key as a win con, but things like [[progenitor mimic]] and [[croaking counterpart]] helping drive the gold cards. Blue would have things like [[phantasmal image]] [[spark double]] and [[homunculus Hoard]]. Green would provide [[mitotic slime]] [[timberpack wolf]] and [[second harvest]]. I know [[doubling season]] is better but every expensive. I would probably add some cards with the offspring mechanic as well.

I know it's probably ideal for a low power cube, but it might be something different enough to try.

32M here looking for F. I'd like to find a life partner if that's still a thing, ideally start a family some day. I am a veterinary technician, so I'm comfortable with cats and dogs (though I am allergic to cats). Interested in having reptiles at some point in the future. I don't drink, though I don't mind if you do. No smoking or drugs for me. I paint miniatures, read, and enjoy card and board games. I have a university degree in science, and I'm ok with you going nerdy on me if you want.

I'm like to know you over several dates, maybe starting with a coffee shop or game night at the loft/level one.

Someone still looking for something special

This may sound like a dumb idea, but I would like an opinion. If I wanted to reuse clear pop bottles to store water short or long term, what would I need to do/add. I have already cleaned them twice to get the previous contents out. This is more for if I know something is coming and I have that extra time to prepare.

Hello. I'm look to cut 5 underperforming cards from each color, giving me 25 free slots to fill. I'm confident in 25 so far (10 gold cards and the thriving lands). I'm looking to add another cycle to lands to bring me to a full 45 lands. I am considering these three cycles: the scry lands (temples), the bicycle lands, and the thunder junction deserts (deal one damage).

I'm leaning towards cycling lands, but I'd love to hear from others.

So I'm planning on running an situation/encounter where my players encounter an elder oblex that operates a library. Both traditional books, but also records of memories it's consumed. I'm wondering, is it too much of a stretch to say it could use magic obtained from the minds it drained? If so, what restrictions?

I'm assuming since lore suggests it likes intelligent creatures, wizard spells would be fine. Bard magic is possible, since it can learn musical instrument proficiency. But things like paladin, cleric, druid and warlock would be "off limits", as they come from an outside source.

I would assign it could use magic it would likely be limited in scope/level, due to a lack of access and practice.

Looking to swap cards for my cube. Its a low power cube. I just swapped [[crew captain]] out for [[rebuild the city]] to support jund landfall.

What I would like advice on are the following

Should I remove [[Avalanche tusker]] for [[temur battle tier]], and [[Mantis Rider]] for [[ jeskai shrinekeeper]].

Mainly, is cheeper spells better than a big body that forces a block, and is the card draw/life worth the slower body with one less keyword?

Anyone else find it sad that the demon prince doesn't have an official death guard paint job on the GW website. There's one for each other chaos faction as well as black Legion, but no death guard representation.

After over a year of being on the fence about it I finally swapped out my New Capenna fetch lands [[Riveters overlook]] (and the thriving lands, but I'm less disappointed there). They have been replaced with the MH3 landscapes [[Bountiful Landscape]].

The New Capenna lands had served my cube well for a long time, encouraging 3 color decks along with supporting landfall in the cube. However, the cycle had been incomplete, as the cycle did not cover the wedges. The thriving lands filled the gap well, allowing my players to choose the color pair they needed, increasing the competition for those lands.

I had been waiting on the cycle to be finished, hoping that Tarkir dragonstorm would have completed the cycle, however with the landscapes being printed so recently, I feel that there was not need to finish the cycle.

That being said, the New Capenna lands have not been fully retired. They are now resting in a deck box dedicated to land cycles I wish to add or swap into the cube at a later date. As it stands, a future revisit to Ikoria is their next chance at rejoining the cube.

I'm looking to decide which of these two cards I should swap in for my green section in cube: mother bear or baloth cage trap. It's a low power cube, and I'm swapping out game trail changeling for one of those cards.

My G/X archetypes are as follows

G/W: tokens/+1/+1 counter

G/U: flash

G/B: elves/graveyard

G/R: elementals

Currently my red changeling is sizzling changeling, but I recently got my hands on both taurean mauler and war-spike changeling. My question is this: is sizzling changeling worth swapping out for either of these alternatives?
