Ch 67. I must have missed the travel solution, what was it?

What was the solution the simulacra used to travel so far and set up the gate?
Was it just the original plan of paying for teleports but refined in order to work?

Wondering about a character.

Do we know who the lizardman mage with “weird speckle pattern around the Lizardman’s eyes. Like upside-down moons or something.” is.
Who is this?

Ryoko was trying for baby with him in one of the palace of fates doors.

Also why is there no fate where ryoka/ryoko is any kind of mother? I don’t remember the Mrsha deal, was that the cause.

Why are minds in one category but prognugators are in another?

Read the whole post before you comment.

Minds and prognugators are both the fusion of many individuals, but one can level and one can’t.

Prognugators, the [Apotheosis of Undeath, the Herald of the Breathless Age], and the palace of fates fusions.
All of these are fused deeper than minds fuse, they are single souls instead of many that act as one.

On the other hand minds are fused too deeply to be like a unasis network. Unasis connects its members while retaining individuality, but a mind homogenizes its members and creates its own identity as its own entity.

Unasis is many souls that are connected and act as one, but they retain individuality, they don’t homogenize into one entity made of many souls. They are individual and they can level.
On the other hand one soul that was made from many souls is still one soul and still one identity.
It is one individual and it can level.

The goblin king is a network of many who still retain individuality. But due to being dead, and/or being closer to a mind than unasis. He can’t level.
Or maybe it’s because he’s a spirit summoned from hellste. It’s probably that.

The mind is in a middle ground. It is deeper than unasis, all the parts homogenize and become one, but they are sort of separate. Their souls remain separate, and it’s even possible to leave a mind. If you do you presumably get your levels back. So even though they act as one thing, they aren’t quite a single being.
This strange middle ground can’t level because it’s not a single individual.

I can think of 2 other possible reasons that minds don’t have levels.

  1. One being can’t have multiple bodies. The mortemdefier titan only got its levels back once it reformed. But I think that was a different issue. I don’t believe in the one body limit.
  2. A selphed mind changes is too much like a seam walker, or a monster, so it can’t level. This could be it but I don’t think so.

-Having multiple brains doesn’t disqualify from leveling.
Each of the draconic titans core’s acts as a brain. He has multiple brains but he can level.

If the minds experimentally broke parts off each of their members, but erased these parts before they fused into a new selphid. They would ethically create a selphid that was empty from day one.
If they repeated this many times to make many empty selphids, while manually controlling them so that they survive.
Then had one selphid telepathically graft those empty brains onto its own, and form a single organ with one soul and one identity.
Would it be able to level?
Idk.
At the very least it would be an interesting mind.

The draconic titan who can rival a dragonlord is an example of how any body modification is acceptable, only the creatures that have a too powerful created nature can’t level.
And grafting extra brains should fall under body modification instead of what minds are.
(The body modification of becoming a god is probably too far and disqualifies you from leveling)

A “mind of one” (if it could level) would find it hard to level because they would be carried by their high level body modification. Also because they would have a powerful, hard to level, class.
Unless it didn’t, which is technically possible.

Why do people act like they don’t know the blighted kingdom did the summoning?

In the chatlog America Group says that the blighted kingdom did the summoning.
But when people who read the chatlog talk about it they talk about it as if they don’t know this.

Why?

Looking for better browsing app.

I keep many tabs open and have many tab groups.

I have recently discovered that chrome will randomly delete all your tab groups, and that all recovery methods will fail.
Please help me find another browsing app.

Safari is good but it slows down and heats up when I rapidly swap between twitter tabs.
When it is in this laggy state it’s too easy to delete all tabs because the inputs are misinterpreted, and the screen doesn’t display that the menu to close all tabs is open. Then it doesn’t even have an are you sure screen.

Chrome is smoother when rapidly swapping between un-smooth sites such as twitter (un smooth refers to swapping active tabs, not to the pages ability to run by itself).
But it takes up too much memory to store the same amount of tabs, which I was fine with because it ran smoother and I had enough memory.
However it will delete all your tab groups.
This happens randomly and rarely.
Even if it ran smoothly for months or years you can’t trust it and should transfer.

Brave doesn’t have tab groups, and it bloats like chrome.

Is there an app that has tab groups, but is also able to rapidly change tabs even on sites that run suboptimally such as twitter?
As an unnecessary bonus it would be good if it didn’t bloat in memory like chrome does.

If there isn’t a better alternative I’ll just go back to safari.

Anyone currently using chrome, use any other app, unless it’s also unstable.

The clown and hero of turns show that the class system can make reality what you want. It is totally possible to create the class, sovereign citizen.

What other non standard classes seem like fun ideas.

I’m not asking for something that breaks the system, I just want interesting unorthodox classes

You can’t just say a powerful name like super hero and hope it will instantly provide you the results.
A class will only provide results that match your level (except for hero’s, and the occasional lucky person with an out of level skill).

For example [sovereign citizen] will only provide results better than [confusing statement] or [attention grabbing paperwork] at a higher level.
And even once you have charm skills you still aren’t able to handle the fact that they can just seek you out in force once it wears off.
This will need a ton of levels in order to work.

The only broken classes are the ones that are designed to be broken and that’s hero.
Even goblin king isn’t broken, because he is either high 80 or low 90, so his power level makes sense.

I have major confusion with OT7.

In ot 7 it says
“After losing their largest fighting force, the three-thousand-strong Gregorian Chant, the Roman Catholic Church must have been trying to strengthen itself through as many ways as possible, including the development of new spells and training of its members.”

All I remember is that they bombarded Aureolus Izzard’s school, then he reversed it.
When were they lost, and how?

Also I remember some implication that ars magna only worked inside the schools boundary, but that doesn’t make sense to me, is that really how it works?

I am not past ot 7. No spoilers.

What is Aureolus Izzard’s capacity to develop as an Esper.

Theoretically if he just used ars magna and then didn’t act crazy resulting in amnesia. Instead deciding to undergo Esper experiments.

He didn’t only loose because of emotional weakness, it was also because he wasn’t a fast thinker (unknown right arm, just paralyze him at the neck). His lacking mind is a knock against his Esper potential. However he does have the laws of reality engraved in his mind with ars magna, he is able to stop the back lash of mixing magic and science, using ars magna, and Ars magna is already very close to a personal reality just based on accuracy instead of inaccuracy.

I’m only into angel fall so I don’t know if having a child’s mind is needed for the experiments, but he can just alter his body and mind.

I hate the glasses slipping, staying on a certain spot, agitating my nose.
The only solution I have found is glue.
What is a glue stick that is skin safe and will not bond too much, preventing removal at the end of the day.

I saw one girl who got piercings to stop her glasses from slipping too low. The glue solution is not at all extreme.

I could go to sleep right now if I wasn’t cramming.

In the past I drank a full can of monster, only having a short effect for each sip, taking multiple sips to sustain me for 2 hours, then going right to sleep. (After 20-30 min on phone)

Tonight after taking a full pill and being unsatisfied I thought that the solid form was the issue making slow effects instead of instant energy. So I crushed half a pill and drank it. No change even though it should be equal to more than half a can of monster.

Perhaps I should just eat a handful of sugar.

Edit: have not yet eaten a handful of sugar, feel a hint of shakiness, and I am awake, though not energized.

Edit: handful of sugar does not give me the same instant energy as monster
