What are you taking for Hashimoto’s or hypothyroidism? Do you worry about the thyroid warning?

Hi...just like the title says. My daughter was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s and is interested in trying microdosing GLP-1s for possible inflammation benefits. I’m curious what others are doing, specifically what medication you’re taking and at what dose.

Sometimes it gets confusing comparing doses because semaglutide and tirzepatide use different dosing scales, but all the numbers people mention (.25, .5, 1, etc.) start sounding the same after a while.

Also curious whether the thyroid warning concerns you at all with Hashimoto’s/hypothyroidism.

Thanks for any feedback .

Anyone use glp1 who didn't have "food noise"?

Has anyone here taken a GLP-1 primarily for PCOS symptoms/metabolic issues and not for appetite and "food noise"? If so, how is it going? What did you take (type/amt)?

My doctor is bringing them up because of insulin resistance/prediabetes labs, elevated cholesterol/triglycerides, inflammation markers, etc., and I’m trying to understand what benefits people with PCOS noticed outside of just the number on the scale. I do need to lose weight but I don't struggle with appetite, sometimes forgetting to eat all day till dinner.

Did anyone notice improvements in things like:

- cycles/ovulation

- inflammation

- fatigue/energy

- skin

- hair growth/loss

- testosterone levels

- cravings/blood sugar crashes

- mood/anxiety

- overall feeling physically better

I feel like most GLP-1 discussions online are very hunger centered, and I’m more curious about the PCOS/metabolic symptom side of it. I recently looked at Lavender sky health, and just trying to decide if I should do it.

Thanks !

So I have a dwarf peach planted there that should get 6ft tall x 5-6ft wide. That will hopefully add some shade to these rooms. I plan to plant some dwarf Ruellia in front of it like a ground cover. But I don't know what to plant between the house and tree. I was thinking maybe Valentine bush .... But eventually it won't get blasted by the sun like it does now. Wanted something that maybe gets 2-3 ft tall/wide. My house faces South and until this tree is mature there is no shade.

What would you guys suggest?

Does anyone know what kind of worm might be in with my Thai springtails. At first I thought it was slime but no, that was a ton of worms coming up to feast on the fish flakes I put in a few hours ago. I used the same substrate and plant cuttings for my orange springtails and they do not have the worms. Sorry for the video it was hard to capture with my phone. Also, what do I do? Are the worms going to out compete (ie kill off) my springtails.
