How many renewal/new visa ppl have done so far? I know there is no limit, but has anyone worked 20-25 years without any issues?

I’ve applied spouse visa for my wife, it was filed 3 months ago.
We need to travel to Sydney in 2 months for a short trip.
Most likely the 309 will be still be under processing, so I’m thinking of getting a visitor visa for her. Based on our situation which sub class I should apply for? Family sponsored ? It takes a little longer.
I’ve 50-55 days to start the travel.
Need help with the visa scheduling. I'm an Australian citizen and my wife is an Indian citizen. In the past we had stamped E3 visa in India (same application with my wife as a dependent).
Now with the new USCIS ruling, I'm supposed to stamp my visa from Aus. I requested to move our profiles to the Aus portal. I think my profile is moved correctly, but my wife's profile I'm not able to add a dependent to the application.
When I click "Add to application" from the dependent screen, I get an error "You don't have appropriate permission".
When I try to locate her profile by UID it says "Dependent cannot be added because the Primary Applicant profile is for a different country."
I have requested ind support to move or delete her profile, they are saying they can't locate it. When I ask Aus support to delete her profile, they say it's disassociated from my profile, but I still can't add her or create a new dependent.
I highly appreciate any pointers here.

Similar question for my kid, he 8+ months now, born overseas. Applied for his citizenship by descent 4 weeks ago. Shall I apply visitor visa for him as well?
