Innerwell: Stay Away!!!

Innerwell offers at home oral ketamine (you take lozenges and swirl them around in your mouth until they dissolve, spit that out, and then embark upon your session, which you do alone, unguided).

The max dosage amount is 900mg orally. This equates to about 30mg via IM (intramuscular shot) or IV (a very, very low dose). Most people only learn this after they've paid $600 or more for the Foundation plan. You need to reach the state of ego loss to even begin to try and rewire the paths that help with PTSD. In general, this would be about 90-120mg or more, depending on your mental health diagnosis(or diagnoses), and your personal preference for the delivery of ketamine.

When it comes to Innerwell as a company, I've heard of insane stress, frustration, misinformation, opacity around payments and additional plans required, an inability to reach the psychiatric clinician (aka the person prescribing the ketamine), and much, much more.

When current patients point out that certain serious issues and cases can and should be escalated to a supervisor, they are again met with corporate jargon about how that is impossible. Anyone who has ever worked in the business world knows this is absolute BS.

Lisa Kennedy is the CEO. Lawrence Tucker is the Executive Medical Director. Both are on LinkedIn.

There is no phone number for patients to use. In other words, current patients can only submit messages via the portal, and no one responds on weekends, which is a HIPAA violation.

Another violation? Not being able to contact your psychiatric clinician (the NP prescribing your ketamine doses) directly except via the patient portal. It appears that most, if not all of these psychiatric clinicians (PCs) are contracted via some third party and most are based in Africa/Asia, as the only available time slots were from 6PM EST on.

TLDR; Beware of Innerwell. Get KAP done in person, via IM or IV in person through a licensed provider. Oral ketamine is simply not effective enough for people who have real, severe, medication-resistant mental health disorders.

Beware: Innerwell as KAP at home

URGENT/BEWARE INNERWELL:

I signed up for Innerwell after doing in-person KAP in a different state via IM from 2020-2025. Back in 2020 when I first started, I did the "6 in 6"; aka 6 sessions in 6 weeks, tapering from 30 up to 110mgs via IM and then eventually settling into 90-100mg IM maintenance shots every 6-8 weeks up until I moved states last year (2025).

In early 2026, I decided to try out Innerwell, which offers at home oral ketamine (you take lozenges and swirl them around in your mouth until they dissolve, spit that out, and then embark upon your session, which you do alone, unguided).

What followed was nine weeks of insane stress, frustration, misinformation, opacity around payments and additional plans required, an inability to reach my psychiatric clinician (aka the person prescribing the ketamine), and much, much more.

If you unsurprisingly request a refund after being misled and paying around $1K out of pocket or around $600 with insurance, you will be told by their outsourced Support team that it's impossible due to their "policies."

If you continue to emphasize every single way in which Innwerwell not only failed to deliver upon their KAP program but failed to provide consistent support and guidance to someone who has serious mental health disorders and has been on serious medication for over a decade to try and combat them to no avail—the exception being my previous in-person KAP IM sessions—they will apologize using corporate jargon and ignore your request for a refund.

When you point out that certain serious issues and cases can and should be escalated to a supervisor, you will again be met with more corporate jargon about how that is impossible. Anyone who has ever worked in the business world knows this is absolute BS.

Lisa Kennedy is the CEO. Lawrence Tucker is the Executive Medical Director. Both are on LinkedIn. I was forced to message both of them in a desperate attempt to bring attention to what I endured. As of right now, still waiting on a response.

There is no phone number for patients to use. In other words, you can only submit messages via the portal, and no one responds on weekends, which is a HIPAA violation.

Another violation? Not being able to contact your psychiatric clinician (the NP prescribing your ketamine doses) directly except via the patient portal. TLDR; Beware of Innerwell. I would not recommend them at all for KAP. In fact, I would advocate that anyone stay far, far away from this company. They are negligent and do not practice legitimate medicine.
