Canvas UGC seems to be all the rage! How do you think of so many ideas?!
I’m not personally interested in getting into it, but I’m so curious how people think of ideas to do 1-2 reels per day for a month straight (and longer)! lol.

I’m a newbie and finally finished my portfolio & started pitching to a few brands. I’m reaching out to brands I currently use. I got an email back and they said they love my content, asked what I had in mind and are open to suggestions. They said they often do “ambassador” deal for a few months and provide X in return. So essentially a gifted collab, but it’s dog food & treats so it’s something I will use/buy regardless, so this still works in my favour.
Should I accept this offer? I am open and happy with gifted collabs while gaining experience! Especially to get a few “brands I’ve worked with” under my belt for my portfolio. But should I take this opportunity to try and negotiate? Thoughts? Thank you!
Our puppy is 8 months old, and he is doing AMAZING. He’s so affectionate & sweet. Potty trained, has slept through the night & crate trained since week 1. He’s so smart! My current challenge is loose leash walking in new areas! Around the neighbourhood? Perfect. In a new spot such as a hiking trail.. he pulls like a mf. Any suggestions here? When walking in the neighborhood or parked nearby, he knows his commands (here = fall back) and is veryyyy food motivated. In new places, it’s like my words & treats don’t exist 😅. I love adventuring & hiking, so this is something I really want to nip! Thank you!
Newbie here! How do you know if an offer or ugc job ad is a reasonable offer? I’m in some ugc subreddits and some of them are asking for 12+ videos for 150$. Is that considered good?? 🫣 thank you!
We’ve been together for 12 years and were best friends for years before we started dating (and still are!).
Over the last 6 or so months, though, I’ve started feeling like I need to justify anything I do outside the house. For context: I’m gone about 2 evenings per week (gym for 1 hr or work). We have an 8 month old puppy, who is the sweetest angel. I did most of the training and we both share this exercise responsibilities (although I tend to take him most).
The main issue: whenever I do something that doesn’t involve our puppy, I’m met with comments like, “You’re always gone” or “You’re leaving me again.” This happens whether I’m going to the gym, work or seeing a friend on the rare occasion. Almost every single time. I’m also part of a book club that meets once a month.
I’ve always been fairly independent, and this is something he’s always said he admired about me. However other than what I listed above, I’m home all the time.
Am I being unreasonable for wanting to maintain hobbies and friendships outside of our relationship? I’ve tried addressing this with him, and he has acknowledged that this is not ok, but it hasn’t changed his behaviour. It is often difficult to discuss these types of conversations as he’s defensive and often causes an argument.
TLDR: I am in a long term relationship struggling with balancing independence & maintaining personal hobbies/friendships. I am seeking advice on realistic expectations in a relationship how to navigate these changes.
My fiancé and I have been together for 12 years. We both have full time jobs, however I have a part time job as well. I only work a max 1 shift away week as my partner doesn’t like it when I’m away (gets lonely), and I usually got to the gym one other evening.
Would you prefer your partner be home more, or work a few evenings a week (3) to help pay off debt sooner?
TLDR: Need help balancing relationship expectations vs personal expectation.
HELP! I am stumped.
I have an iPhone 13 that is maxed on storage. I also have a Mac book air. I purchased a Seagate 2TB external hard drive to transfer photos & anything else to it to free up space from my iPhone. My Mac doesn’t have enough space for all of my photos from iCloud to sync to it, so I can’t even bring up all the photos on my Mac to do the good ol drag to the external hard drive folder.
How the heck do I transfer the photos to my iPhone without my Mac? Will plugging the hard drive in the iPhone directly work? Haven’t tried it yet as I’d need to order a converter for the plug in.
Thanks!!
EDIT: My iCloud still has lots of space, but my phone is out of space. What should I do here to free up space on my phone?🤔
I’ve been seeing lots of people mention tech UGC, and I’m wondering what exactly this is? Is it simply doing ugc videos on apps/ai/websites? Or is it creating a new social media acct and posting a bunch of videos on it? Thank you!!
Question! People often say you can do UGC without much experience or followers, BUT when linking my social media to my portfolio and brands see a lack of views/engagement, wouldn’t that deter them from wanting to work with me?
I have a dog Instagram and I have landed a gifted collab which is exciting! And I’m working on a portfolio to reach out for paid ugc gigs but I just worry my lack of followers/video popularity may impact my ability? Thoughts?!
Curious to know where others are at in terms of training & behaviour at this age!
Mine has definitely chilled out! During the 6pm-8pm hours, tends to be his witching hours😂, but the rest of the day he’s chill!
Potty trained, no biting or chewing, sleeps through the night, I’d say like.. 75% loose leash trained, and great with other dogs/cats. Recall needs work for sure but it’s getting better! Crated while we’re gone to work or out of the house. Still obsessed with eating sticks lol.
How’s puppyhood going for you?!
I have a 7 month old puppy, and he’s learning recall but he’s not at the point of trusting him off leash. For those of you with puppies/dogs that don’t have solid recall, where do you bring your dogs to get their energy out? We walk ours in the neighbourhood, parks, the mountains etc. There’s one dog park we’ll occasionally go to for a play date with our friends puppy (it’s small and not many dogs go there), otherwise we steer clear of dog parks as they are just so unpredictable. In our city, I’m constantly hearing about bite/attacks, and I don’t want our pup picking up bad habits. So, where do you bring your pups ?!
How did you balance still enjoying life while paying off debt? Did you fully lock in and do nothing outside of work/home? Did you spend nothing on anything other than bills & debt? Or did you take a bit longer to pay debt off and spend a small bit on things of enjoyment (take out, camping, activities etc.).
Curious to hear what worked for you :)
About a month or so ago, I felt really nauseous during my workout (I do strength classes & spin). I’ve been doing this now over a year with no issues. This one class I felt sooo nauseous, and I got off the bike & left the room for 2 minutes as I didn’t want to throw up, then returned for the remainder of class. I think I just worked myself too hard this time. Ever since though, I feel nauseous every other class.. regardless of when/what I eat or which workout it is. Sometimes it happens only 20 mins into a workout. I really think it’s more of a mental thing, cause if there’s a good song and I’m not in my head, the nausea goes away. It’s so frustrating because I LOVE going, but I hate this feeling. I feel like my workouts aren’t as good as I’ll slow when I feel this way or be worried I’ll feel this way. Ugh 😢
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you overcome it?
