Lubbock Naturalists
Anyone interested in trying to discuss with the city council how we might manage some parks differently? I’ve tried but don’t have any clout or support. The nature groups in town are non-confrontational and certainly not controversial. At one time I thought reviving the NPSOT might attract individuals with the same interests. Just let me know.
From my friend
“I have seen them at Remington Park too. As with previous discussions I have zero influence over the mowing contract. I would suggest that several people with interest speak up at council meetings and address concerns about mowing locations and frequency.”
