Common stereotypes of students or Dentists from each dental school in the PH

What are the common stereotypes of students or dentists from the top Dent schools in the Philippines?

Here’s what I know so far:

  1. UP - Very conservative when it comes to treatment planning
    - Won’t suggest or recommend anything “grand” unless the patient asks

- very meticulous and takes their time (in other words, medyo matagal gumawa)
- Usually becomes part of the government/politics

- holds high positions in hospitals / LGU

- Very technical and by the book

  1. UE- Entrepreneurial; most of the “known” clinic owners / CEOs are graduates of UE (e.g. GAOC, UDC,etc)

- Independent thinkers and doers
- most “Conyo” students from exclusive HS schools choose UE for college
- Most known mentors are UE grads
- highly regarded by colleagues
- overconfident (sometimes not a good thing)

  1. CEU - most popular among Filipinos
Pag dentistry, automatic na pumasok sa isip ng Pinoy, “sa CEU ka graduate?”

- Home of topnotchers
- maraming humble / cowboy personality
- most good looking Dentistry students
- Too aggressive sa treatment planning (not necessarily a bad thing)
- madaming sideline aside from Dentistry

What are your thoughts?
