you can make it look like your pickaxe strike caused an explosion if you instantly dsstroy the target and tine it with your animation.

I'm trying to make a system where attacks closer to the enemy do extra damage. I've almost completed it, but can't detect when the projectile is created to save the created_tick for later use.

the on_entity_created event doesn't output when the projectile is fired.

roblox has been going downhill for a while and I doubt it will survive. why do people still play and develop for it? do you have any plans if roblox is shutdown?

grenades can remove decoratives like grass, but floors can't. so if you don't want to, or are unable to use mods, you could grenade every plant in your factory.

realistically this is extremely impractical, but kind of funny?

sometimes a red textbox appears saying "server will close after this round" when the round ends after that, all players are kicked from the server.

why does this happen? to prevent afk farms?

what one-class only team would survive longest in dynamic, and hell mode?

what map would be their best and worst map?

the text color is now orange and it's disorientating. I tried looking for other textures but hey change other colors too. is there any way I can revert the orange text back to being white?

I believe biters may have eradicated all biological lifeforms besides fish (since biters can't swim in deep water) and trees (because they consider them objects.)

I believe the ground under biter nests spawns lichen and mycelium decorations, so maybe the biters are herbivores and consume that.

oil suggests some previous life has died.

the tutorial has some minor lore for the engineer although I don't think it says much that wasn't already known.

do you have any theories?

I play on switch, and trying to built straight walls is commonly interrupted because the cursor slightly drifts since I'm not perfectly holding the stick in the target direction. if small stick velocity was ignored, these minor inaccuracies would no longer hinder the construction process of myself and others.

how did wube know the game wouldn't just be a mess due to lack of factory layout? the title animations mostly show spaghetti bases. is that how they expected it to be or is it just that way for asthetics?

I don't really know a good way to word this. basically did they balance the game around a specific factory layout? if not how did they balance it at all?

like how did they ensure you could actually route things and that every playthrough would not end in a tangled mess? how did they playtest it?
