I don't want to meet or anything, I just really need to know the story here. Where did you get it? Where were you going? What is its name? Is it a pet or dinner?

I love iris season!

We started collecting irises a few years back. Many of these were bought at King County Iris Society sales. It's wild to me how many sizes, colors and even scents there are. My white whale is one my dad gave me many years ago; a large purple variety that smelled like licorice. I left it behind when I moved years ago, to my great regret. But I love all these other ones and will keep adding more as long as there's still space!
