This is my life now (swipe for some snow)

Did a full body line brushing not even a week ago. Today I could only get around to doing 80% of his body and it seems his fur output in fact was more somehow. I think their fur and unlimited energy might be the most renewable sources of energy and textile this planet has.

Anyone have a rootstock tree they wanna get rid of in Dallas area?

I’m hoping someone in the Dallas area happens to have a trifoliate rootstock tree that they wanted me to dig up and get rid. Maybe your citrus tree died and the rootstock stayed alive, or whatever the case may be.

How to soil drench with Neem Max

My plumerias either have mealybugs or spider mites and I’m planning to use Neem Max. What’s the best way to do a soil drench (dilution, duration etc) and how often? Will I need to do this regularly forever to keep the pests under control forever? In your experience is soil drenching or foliar spraying more effective. I don’t need the pests gone instantly since it’s not too out of control yet, I just need the most effective long term method. Will soil drenching also help with rust or will that only work as a spray?

Someone on r/citrus said this but I wanted to get r/plumeria input:

“Cold pressed neem oil contains a systemic-absorbed insect growth regulator called azadirachtin. It can be used as a simple horticultural oil sprayed directly on pests or it can be used for systemic protection to kill pests that attack the tree even where it wasn’t sprayed. As a foliar spray it provides about 5 days of systemic protection. As a soil drench it provides about 10-14 days of systemic protection. Application as a soil drench is bee-safe and is good for soil quality. Application as a foliar spray helps reduce leaf fungal/bacterial infections. Azadirachtin disrupts growth of juvenile stages and prevents them from progressing through instars/molts — it doesn’t necessarily kill adults and it doesn’t completely stop all damage.”

Is this what the flowers are supposed to look like?

Out of my 6 plumerias, 2 are blooming. One has normal looking white flowers, but my other one has a flower stalk that’s been drooping over fully horizontally for the past 3 weeks as the flower buds have gotten more and more plentiful. But these buds would stay really large for 2 weeks without ever opening (some even just falling off the plant without opening) and if it did bloom, it blooms in this weird almost partial open formation. Is this a different type of plumeria or what’s wrong with it.

White Magic health issues and how to tell what breeders litters might be healthier based on pedigree

I recently read up on all the old posts exposing White Magic continuing to breed and sell dogs with various health issues (heart, tumor, eye, thyroid, etc) even to this day. I also read that the White Magic bloodlines are intertwined somewhat with Polar Mist and Vanderbilt. If I were seeking a puppy from Polar Mist, Vanderbilt, or any other breeders with a history of working with White Magic, how can I be sure that their puppies would be clear of the health issues related to the breeding practices of White Magic?

I’m trying to figure out how deep into the pedigree White Magic’s issues stem, and if there’s any way (perhaps by looking at a pedigree) I can tell that a litter from another breeder hasn’t been completely affected that it’s impossible to avoid. Have other breeders (like polar mist, Vanderbilt etc) stopped the breeding of their dogs they know might have some blood relation to the health-affected WM dogs?

Also does anyone have any testimonials or experience with dog breeders that I would have a much higher chance of steering clear of health problems?

I know OFA / CHIC exists, but is this really enough to tell if a litter has steered clear of health affected bloodlines and would have a higher chance of not having health issues later?

Are these pests?

Got these from Home Depot today and noticed this white residue underneath 3-4 leaves. They have the consistency of dried out Elmer’s glue or dried out rice, not powdery though, and I can’t see any bugs moving on the leaves, stems, or soil. Could it just be whatever they spray on them at the farms? They were also left outside in full sun (over 100 degrees in Texas) for a while at the store and have some scorched leaves, so are these possibly burned up pests?

7ft fiddles at Sam’s club $45 each

Generational steal in my opinion. And the trunks are super thick and sturdy. The taller one is almost 8ft.
