Question About New Pan Seasoning

Just finished the first round of preseason, canola at 465F for an hour. It mostly looked good but there are these small, off colored looking marks.

Is this normal and should I just use it to keep building it? Or is this factory wax or something that I didn't do a good job cleaning off prior to the initial preseason?

Streaming Device for 5.1 Remuxes

I'm looking to buy a streaming device but it seems they all have compromises. I'm not sure how much it's worth chasing the audio support for a 5.1 setup though I do want some solid audio performance. Is it noticeable?

What's your recs based on my system below?

Pioneer Elite SC-81

ML Motion 8 Center and Motion 10s for the fronts and rear.

I can use an audio extractor with an hdmi audio out connection to split the signals.
