so one of the monsters in conceptual asym is gonna be my goat Uncle Samsonite, and as I’ve been rewatching and actually understanding the Uncle Sam series, I’ve noticed that PC2 pretty much made his moveset so identical and accurate to his character that well, I’ve been struggling to make something that is both accurate and not just straight up copying pc2.

the only things I’ve really come up with him is a move where you can hold and throw a Mountain Dew bottle which when colliding with a wall or floor, will fizz around and build up dance energy. he (and the survivors) can also travel through doors that spawn around the map, but other than conceptual moves I’m struggling to separate from PC2, I got nothing. so any advice?

nothing really other than I feel like he should be a character more about the poison debuff rather than aerial combat since mei-Mei (and I hate to say this to my goat locust) since well sadly, she just does aerial combat better.

Recently I have seen the EOOS Allosaurus and yeah it is just kinda just the JW Allo but with feathers and a slightly more colourful palette. And I like it. Sure is it the best most accurate thing here? No, not really. But is it good? Fuck yes and I’m tired of pretending.

Generally I do like it when dinosaurs are portrayed as accurate as anyone else who has an interest in dinosaurs does, but can we stop being the fun police and acting like every mildly inaccurate design or one recycled from JW (which doesn’t even have the worst designs) are the worst things ever (seriously they could’ve been recycled from 65)?

On a similar note, what is it with dinosaur fans wanting an R-Rated movie? yeah it would be cool but let’s be honest, most people who have an interest in dinosaurs would not be able to watch it because they’re young (including myself) and what would even be the hype? “ooh blood and guts!! more gorey imagery” and then we all complain that the effect wore off after the second time.

so ive been trying to make a basic combat base for my future characters, starting with the m1’s. I followed Glackups accurate m1 tutorial so they slow down when the attack is blocked but for some reason they still play the hit effect when blocked? I need help!! (with photos as well since I’m a visual learner.)
