This new TNTL is horrible

The standup one. Like it was painful to go through. I did not even chuckle once. I havent watched TNTL for a while but is this the typical quality now? Like I feel so confused the audience in the video is laughing and its like.... is the joke that they are so bad ita funny? That works maybe once or twice....

I mostly play video games and havent read a fiction book in a long time. I realize that some of the best video games have themes and motifs from classic literature and or fiction in general.

Are there any books that offer a sense of existentialiam and a sense of being in a scary world where weird things happen and there is no real explenation that is satisfying (fantasy, sci-fi, specific genre doesnt matter)?

I just beat the Sheperd and and Empress first try on the same fucking run! I started from Ancient Depths and manaved to become overpowered. No use of Carcosian modifiers.

I think in Returnal Selene even with the most OP builds always felt like she was a glass cannon and you could die even at the later stages of a run.

Whereas Arjun if you do a complete run starting from the beginning areas all the way to the Cathedral or Desoalte Frotress depending on the progression of story, you wilñ get so powerful that nothing can kill you. Especially with the rifle weapons.

Returnal felt a times like a semi horror game. I was always terrified some bs would happen and my run with be ended.

In Saros Im in full power fantasy. But I think this purposeful and builds into the themes the game is tackling.

So I suspended my game since I'm at work but before I got to work I managed to make it to the swamp biome having started at the ancient depths biome and have been rolling through all the enemies. I have like 14K lucenite. Should I continue with my run until I die or should I return to Passage in order to experience the story and cash in Lucenite?

I beat the first boss after 3 cycles which compared to how much of a dick Phrike was in Returnal is quite amazing. But Saros is kind of an improvement so far in almost every aspect so far. Visuals, gameplay loop, permanent upgrades, atmosphere especially, and the story is not as unique as Returnal but the fact that it's presented normally is a refreshing change. I think people on the fence should buy it but if the difficulty was the main reason you wanted to play then I can see why you might not enjoy it as much.
