It is finrot isn’t it…?

His fins had been looking suspicious to me for two days now, and today I came from work to his fins looking like THIS! Poor baby :(…

I am asking for help to treat him, I am a first time owner and even though I have learned a lot this is still a bit new to me

Yes, I ditched the plastic one and got real ones. The water looks cloudy because of all the moment of me moving decor to adjust plants

Also this is just the beginning lol, I am always working on improving

I have had my betta for a little while now and have noticed he likes to swim around a lot—I mean between the filter and around the tank, doing circles and between decor.

I feel like maybe he needs some enrichment…? He is VERY active and his tank perhaps is too boring—suggestions on some “toys” I can put in his tank?

Noopy has been swimming in his new home for about 3-4 days now, but I can’t help but feel he is getting pushed around by the water.

I have a 5gallon tank with a Top Fin PF10 Silentstream Power Filter, I have turned it to the lowest it can go & brought a sponge so he doesn’t get sucked in by the filter, I will add a video if someone wants it but I just want to bring him a more peaceful environment.

Someone recommend a piece of plastic straw tapped completely with electrical wire to break some of the water, is that my only viable option?
