I am starving for a proper pair of formal pants
I'm 4 foot 10 and relatively skinny, and every time I try to find a good pair of pants it's way too long. I'm almost in grad school so I'd love any recommendations for where to get a couple pairs so that I don't look goofy at conferences... Genuinely the only pants I've been able to find that fit are from the kids section but those don't look right.

Help! Fledgling hummingbirds
Found a hummingbird by the pool, didn't move it but offered some water on a leaf. Noticed its sibling (?) (assuming they both fledged and are struggling) floating in the pool, got it out and rinsed a bit with non-pool water. Worried about them staying by the poolside, what should we do?
