My travel startup is dying due to lack of funds
I’m working with a travel startup that was running smoothly before the pandemic. It shut down during COVID, but we restarted operations in 2024.
Since then, I’ve built the website and handled all the content myself—there’s no team yet. We’re starting to get traction, and about 70% of our bookings are from repeat customers. Right now, we run fixed departure trips, so we don’t have corporate clients yet.
We do have the network and contacts to get into B2B, but to handle larger group tours of 100–200 people, we’d need to expand the team first. We can’t manage that with just 3 people, and we don’t have the funds to invest in hiring for at least the next 6 months.
