I’m at a retreat for a Catholic men’s group I belong to. I don’t like being away from home for obvious reasons. Especially without My wife , she has however,made my accommodation arrangements for me in advance .

I was absolutely mortified when the young lady behind the desk at the Westin said out loud, “ you require a waterproof mattress protector ? “ based upon, I guess, my wife telling them so..

Has anyone else ever been through this, and how did you handle it? Because I just wanna cry.

I’ve had two dry nights in a row, which is rare for me these days.
I was in the bathroom this morning, getting ready for the day, and putting the diaper I wore last night in the genie, when I thought, “ there’s nothing wrong with this, shouldn’t I just save it, for tonight?” But I didn’t.. just a habit I guess.

How do others handle, dry morning diapers?

Does anyone else have problems with the side seam of their plastic pants, breaking open? We wash ours a few times and the next thing I notice, the seam, had come, I dunno, unsealed.

We buy them, along with, all our in continence supplies at a local medical supply store, but I’m unsure of the brand name.

My wife is the kindest, most understanding person in the world. She makes this problem so much more bearable.

My wife and I have always used reusable chuxs underneath me at bedtime, and, if they got wet, they’d go in the washing.
This morning I noticed, even though I wear tranquility ATN and plastic pants, my pyjamas and bed pads were wet. I was also disappointed to see the bottom sheet also had a spot on it
She says not to worry, they get worn out with repeated washing. But we’ve got to spend some time at the family’s summer home next month, and I want disposable bed pads, for obvious reasons.

I’d be interested in the thoughts of others who live with this.

Although I’ve dealt with this all my life, coping strategies like alarm clocks and drinking timings, have helped me to manage it.
However I’ve had congestive heart failure since 2018, along with a stroke, and my bed wetting became unmanageable without help.I take beta blockers , metropolo, also lasix, , along with some other things. My ankles aren’t swollen too badly anymore. I wonder if a dosage change might help me get out of adult pull ups . I still get winded easily, and I’m a bit shaky on my feet, but I’d love a break from the wet beds.
