This time, I've revisited a piece I did nearly a year ago, which was already a redraw itself. The main reason for tackling this piece again is that back in 2025, I was really trying to shift away from my then current style and focus more on stylization, exaggerated proportions, and dynamic posing. There were definitely some growing pains, and I think it showed in the previous version.

For example, Anisa’s abs looked a bit out of place in the 2025 piece because I oversimplified things and didn't give enough muscle definition elsewhere. And while the pose was dynamic, it also felt stiff at the same time. I think I was pushing too hard for dynamism and forgot to make it feel natural. As George Lucas might say, "I may have gone too far in a few places."

With this new piece, I feel like I've found a much better balance between stylization, dynamism, and proportions. It looks natural, and everything just feels right, which I'm really proud of! I hope you all like it!

Let’s just say, you’ve been tasked with reinventing a hero from the public domain. However, with a catch that they must fit into the magical girl genre (like Sailor Moon, Cutie Honey, Cardcaptor Sakura, etc). If you had to choose, which character(s) would it be and how’d you go about it?
