E A Jabbar - The most prominent exmuslim from Kerala

E. A. Jabbar, widely known as Jabbar Mash, is an Indian rationalist, humanist, author, and speaker from Kerala. He is one of the most prominent "ex-Muslim" voices in the state and a highly visible critic of Islam and religious dogma.

*Background and Transition*

Born into an orthodox Muslim family in Malappuram, Kerala, Jabbar lost his faith while studying in the tenth grade after reading a Malayalam translation of the Quran. He noted what he perceived as inconsistencies and contradictions that could not be satisfactorily answered by his family. He began his career as a school teacher, which earned him the affectionate moniker "Mash" (a colloquial Malayalam abbreviation for "Master"). Over the years, he became a core figure in the rationalist movement in Kerala, associating with organizations like the Kerala Yukthivadi Sangham and the Ex-Muslims of Kerala collective, which provides social support to individuals who leave the religion.

**YouTube Channel**

Jabbar reaches a massive Malayalam-speaking audience through his YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/@eajabbar) and his active blog. Through his videos and podcasts, he actively critiques religious texts, champions free-thinking, and frequently discusses secularism, gender justice, and scientific temper.

> Most notable work he does in his channel is Quran classes which goes through the entire Quran chronological order of events presenting it in an objective manner with all hadith and authenticity. There classes are primarily conducted in Malayalam. ***He is the one of the prominent people that exposed the original context behind introduction of burqua and the reason why Bilal was beaten up by the mushrik***.

***Debate History***

Jabbar Mash has an extensive history of participating in public debates. Since the early 1980s, he has actively represented the rationalist viewpoint in Kerala's debating circles. He is known for openly challenging Islamic scholars to public debates, specifically asking them to prove the scientific or divine origins of the Quran. Over the decades, his open challenges and subsequent debates with various religious figures have garnered millions of views online, establishing him as a central figure in atheist-theist dialogues in the Malayalam-speaking world.

***The Infamous Debate with M.M. Akbar***

One of his most famous and widely viewed public confrontations was dubbed "The Great Kerala Debate," which took place on January 9, 2021, in Malappuram. His opponent was M.M. Akbar, a popular Islamic scholar and the director of Niche of Truth.

***The Challenge***: The debate was sparked by a long-standing challenge from Jabbar: he stated that if anyone could prove the Quran contained any modern scientific knowledge that was completely unknown to the people of 7th-century Arabia, he would recite the Shahada (return to Islam) and retract all of his past criticisms.

***The Arguments***: During the debate, Jabbar argued that the Quran merely reflected the folklore and limited understanding of the time, citing descriptions of the cosmos and human reproduction as scientifically inaccurate. M.M. Akbar countered these points by presenting specific verses—such as those relating to deep ocean waves—which he argued perfectly aligned with modern scientific discoveries.

***The Aftermath***: The marathon event concluded with both factions claiming absolute victory. Rationalists and Jabbar's supporters maintained that he successfully exposed the "scientific miracles" as severe linguistic stretches and verbal contortions. Conversely, M.M. Akbar's supporters felt he thoroughly defended the faith, answered Jabbar's challenge, and proved the Quran's scientific validity. Both sides heavily circulated heavily edited clips of the debate on social media to declare their respective victories, cementing it as a landmark ideological clash in Kerala.

He is cunning in his debates and doesn't hold back any punches. If any mallus exmuslim are lurking here and has not been introduced to Jabbar mash, please let me do the honour.

Lokha and Warhammer 40K

I’m convinced Dominic Arun isn’t just making a Malayalam Marvel,he’s writing a Warhammer 40,000 origin story. (I know it is a stretch but hear me out)

If you look at the subtext, the "Lokah" (World) isn't about folklore; it's about the Age of Terra before the Emperor revealed himself to the galaxy.

  1. Moothon is The Emperor (The Neoth Phase)

In 40k lore, the Emperor walked among us for 30,000 years as a "Silent Strategist," steering humanity from the shadows. Moothon is doing the exact same thing. He’s not a "God" in the religious sense; he’s a high-tier Perpetual with alien (Anunnaki) tech. He’s collecting "Specials" (Odiyans, Yakshis, Chathans) because they are his Prototype Custodes. He isn't protecting Kerala; he's running a biological laboratory to see which "gene-seed" survives the test of time.

  1. Sunny (Naslen) is a "Perpetual" in Hiding

Think about it. Why is Sunny—a seemingly average, underconfident guy—at the center of all this? In Warhammer, Perpetuals like Ollanius Persson often live mundane lives, trying to stay out of the cosmic crossfire.

Sunny isn’t "lucky." He’s immortal and doesn't know it yet.

His "underdog" persona is the perfect camouflage. Moothon is watching him because Sunny might be the "Base Human Template" needed for the future Space Marine project. He’s the "Everyman" who can survive a Yakshi attack because his cells literally won't stay dead.

  1. The Vampire Virus = Proto-Sanguinius Gene-Seed

This is the "Grimdark" clincher. The "vampire" virus affecting Chandra (Kalyani) isn't a curse—it’s unstable biotech.

In 40k, the Blood Angels suffer from the "Red Thirst" (a literal craving for blood) due to a flaw in Sanguinius’s genetic code.

Chandra is essentially a Beta-test for a Primarch. Moothon tried to create a perfect immortal soldier, but he couldn't stabilize the metabolic need for blood/energy. What we see in Lokah is the "failed" first batch of the IX Legion.

  1. Folklore as "Warp-Science"

The Chathans and Odiyans aren't magic. They are entities that have tapped into the Warp (the Empyrean).

Odiyans are basically Callidus Assassins using polymorphine-like shapeshifting.

Chathans are minor Warp Entities or "Daemons" that Moothon is trying to bind to physical bodies (Daemonhosts) to use as weapons.

Just like how "Event Horizon" is a Warhammer spin off about a ship travelling to Warp, i really wish Lokha could be something more than just a folk Lore. Neslen character has potential to be wasted on a single movie as a romance character.

A pragmatic General: Jagatai Khan of War hammer 40K

If you’re new to Warhammer 40,000, you probably look at the White Scars and think: "Okay, they’re speedy boys with a Mongolian theme. Cool, I guess." For a long time, I thought the same. I overlooked them because that "bare bones" aesthetic didn't seem to have the depth of the Gothic angels or the Viking space wolves. But after diving into the lore, I’ve realized that Jaghatai Khan (the Primarch/Leader of the White Scars) is arguably the most level-headed, common-sense person in a universe defined by madness.

Here is why the Khan is actually the GOAT, with some context for the "lore-oblivious" among us:

  1. He doesn't care if you "get" him

In a galaxy where every other Primarch is obsessed with glory, statues, and being understood, Jaghatai is a total pragmatist. He does good because it's right, not to be thanked.

The Context: Even their name, "White Scars," wasn't their choice. The Imperium saw their white armor and lightning-bolt symbols and gave them a generic name. Jaghatai told his brother Sanguinius that he didn't even bother correcting people because if they didn't care to learn his culture, he didn't care to explain it. He’s essentially the "I know more than you" meme, but actually humble about it.

  1. He saw through the Emperor's lies

The Imperial Truth was the Emperor’s official stance that gods and magic didn't exist (to try and starve the Chaos Gods of worship). Most Primarchs swallowed this lie whole, which is why they fell so hard when they finally met demons.

Jaghatai was the only one who argued that this was a mistake.

He knew that "knowing the enemy" was better than "pretending the enemy doesn't exist." He saw the Emperor as a tyrant, but—and here’s the nuanced part—he accepted that a tyrant was a grim necessity to keep humanity from going extinct. He didn't follow the Emperor out of love; he followed him out of logic.

  1. He’s the only one who used his brain during the Heresy.

When the Horus Heresy (the big galactic civil war) started, most Primarchs just picked a side based on daddy issues or blind loyalty. Jaghatai? He paused. He went to investigate the facts first.

Despite being best friends with the traitor Horus, and having a very cold relationship with his father (the Emperor), he chose to stay a Loyalist because he realized Horus had been corrupted by the Warp. He applied actual critical thinking in a setting where that is a rare superpower.

  1. Freedom is his "Core Stat," not Speed

People think the White Scars just like going fast. No. They like freedom.

Skeptical of dogma: He hates "because I said so" arguments

.

Suspicious of tyranny: He serves the throne but refuses to be "owned" by it.

Least ego-driven: He doesn't need to be the "Warmaster." He just wants his sons to be autonomous.

  1. The "Sovereign Outsider"

There’s a famous quote from him that perfectly captures his vibe during the Siege of Terra (the final battle for humanity):

"So I fight for a Father who I never loved, against a brother that I did. I defend an empire that never wanted me against an army that would have taken me in a heartbeat."

Even the Emperor didn't expect Jaghatai to stay loyal. He is the only Primarch who asks "What are we becoming?" instead of just "How do we win?"

The fan made movie of the book "Last Church"

https://youtu.be/rKaY-EI4mkU?si=aow8AXSyvfWXbFaK

For those familiar with the rich tapestry of Indian philosophy, the Emperor of Mankind from Warhammer 40,000 represents a radical, futuristic evolution of the Chakravartin (Universal Ruler) combined with the uncompromising materialism of the Charvaka school.

In the video provided, "The Last Church," we witness a debate between the "Apocalypse", Emperor agent and Uriah, the last priest on Earth. Here is an introduction to his philosophy through an Indian lens.

  1. **The Radical Nastika (Atheist/Materialist)**

The Emperor’s "Imperial Truth" is a modern form of Charvaka (Lokayata). He rejects all notions of the supernatural, devas, or a creator. He views religion not as a path to enlightenment, but as a "canker in mankind's heart" ] and a "plague" of ignorance. He argues that faith is a "willing belief in the unbelievable without proof" and serves only to divide humanity.

  1. **Dharma as "Imperial Truth"**

In Indian thought, Dharma often refers to the cosmic order or duty. The Emperor replaces traditional religious Dharma with Reason and Science. He believes that for humanity to survive the "darkness" of the galaxy, it must move past "fantastical notions" and embrace a secular unity. His goal is a "united galaxy" with Earth at its heart, governed by logic rather than myth.

  1. **The Path of the Chakravartin (Universal Monarch)**

The Emperor embodies the archetype of the Chakravartin—a ruler whose "singular vision" is required to unite a fractured world . He is not a seeker of personal power in his own eyes, but a guide who has seen the "narrow path" humanity must walk to avoid extinction . Like historical Indian monarchs who sought to bring order to Bharatavarsha, the Emperor seeks to bring "Unity" to the entire galaxy.

  1. **The Rejection of "Maya" (The Supernatural)**

While many Indian schools see the material world as Maya (illusion) and the divine as the ultimate reality, the Emperor flips this. To him, the "gods" and the supernatural are the dangerous illusions (Maya) that lead to bloodshed and "horror" . He believes that only by "removing religion" can society become humane and progress.
