UK-based viewer (but could’ve been an American/Canadian film), watched in the early 2000s but the film itself could be older

A plane (WW2/1930s style) crashes in the woods every time it's foggy

It has a 2 person crew. The pilots also wore clothing from this era and one was injured in the crash

Every time the fog or storm comes in, they experience the crash as if it's just happened. Between storms they remember things.

A modern-day child finds them and helps them fly away and complete their flight.

It likely aired as a b-movie on a channel like Hallmark, Channel 5, Sci-Fi, etc.
