I want to emulate this game but right now I only have Dolphin and FightCade. I was going to get the GameCube version, but are there any versions with all 3 guest characters?
I downloaded Fightcade, but it didn't create the emulator and fc2-electron folders for me to copy-paste stuff into. Is this a common problem? I read the pinned guide but I couldn't find anything in there that would solve my problem
Did 10U little league softball today and it was pretty fun. Only thing was, the girls were so tiny! 😭 I ended up just kneeling behind the catcher to have a decent view of the zone. No one said anything, so I just kept with it because it worked pretty well. What do you think?
Bonus: How do you not let chirps affect you during the game? At the end of the game, the coaches seemed happy, the girls were happy, and I was pretty happy; but I remembered this one mom who was chirping at everything that didn’t go her team’s way as I was walking to my car.
How do you not get agitated? Is it just an exposure thing?
Every now and then when I’m on the bases, I’ll have a kid ask me to step to the side so they can see better. I always say no, but I get asked a lot so I wondered if it was a normal thing.
U12 with modified OBR rules. The field is very small so the coaches box is right behind first. F6 fields the ball and throws it to first, over F3, and plunking the first base coach in the shoulder. The ball bounces off coach and goes out of play. We ended up awarding 2 bases to all runners from the time of the pitch.
Does the ball hitting the coach affect the outcome? Or is he just part of the field?
Bonus Question:
8U custom rules; 1 out, runners at 2nd and 3rd. Batter flies out to F7, R3 tags and scores but R2 is put out back at 2nd soon after. After a conference, it’s determined that no runs were scored because R2 was put out during a force out. Did we reach the right conclusion?
I hit a trying and go ahead run the other day and decided to watch them back. I usually skip though, unless they watched theirs

How come swearing is so prevalent at the college and pro level? I don’t just mean saying “shit” or whatever after striking out but I mean managers screaming at an ump “Fuck you! You’re horseshit! Yada yada yada.”
Are umpires not allowed to remove managers and players for this? Would the sanctioning bodies punish them for “soft” ejections?
I’ve only worked high school varsity and below, where swearing isn’t tolerated, so I’m curious to see how higher level officials engage with this.
The inspiration for this post was the recent Jomboy video breaking down the NC State elimination, where the manager kept screaming over and over.

I’m filling in for someone today for softball even though I’ve only ever done baseball. It’s middle school girls. I’m skimming through the rule book right now, but are there any major differences between the rules I should be aware of?

I was working a middle school boys game by myself and yesterday and had this happen:
Pitch comes, batter swings and misses, catcher tries to throw out runner going to 3rd and hits the batter pretty hard.
Is this interference? The batter didn’t move at all; do they need to try to move? It’s also interference if they move though, right?
The kid was hurt pretty bad so I called time and had the coach check up on him. In the end, the runner got to stay at 3rd and the game continued. What do the NFHS rules say about this? This is only my 2nd game behind the plate but I’m trying to improve.
