How it started vs. How it's going
65lbs down total, 57 since starting tirzepatide on February 8, 2026. 35 to go!!! Eating right, staying hydrated, hitting the gym hard... it's an entire lifestyle change and I'm feeling amazing.

Been on compounded Tirzepatide for 18 weeks now. Pretty much zero side effects other than some light constipation. I'm down 53lbs in that time. I've always taken my shot at night between 9 and 10pm.

One "side effect" that, up until now, I've written off is the morning after my shot, I wake up ravenously hungry. But if i can hold off an hour or two, that goes away and I'm good.

Well, yesterday, my wife and I were leaving for vacation with her family, so i decided to take my shot before we left rather than take it with me and take it at my normal time... in hindsight, what a mistake! I took my shot at 4am(~17 hours early). From about 6am until 4pm, I was constantly hungry and my usual go-tos weren't cutting it. I was ravenously hungry and I ate way more than usual. Whereas I normally have consumed around 850 calories before dinner, I was closer to 2000 calories by dinner time (2 protein bars, a bag of peanuts, a banana, two ham and cheese sandwiches, a single serving of cool ranch doritos, and a single cookie).

Then, around 4 or 4:30, all of a sudden, my stomach felt like a brick and that ravenous hunger finally went away. But man did I pay for it the rest of the night. My stomach just felt off the rest of the night, I was extremely gassy, and I woke up sometime overnight with the worst GI distress I've had in a LONG time. Finally feeling back to normal this morning.

Moral of the story, I'll be sticking to nighttime shots. Something in the medicine kicks in about 2 hours later and makes me hungry for about 10 hours. I've previously never had a chance to experience it because I'm sleeping through that time and only catch the last hour or two of it after waking up.

Anybody else experience this?
Was analyzing the weight loss by injection site from Glapp and the math isn't right. Here's the weight loss from Glapp and here's the actual loss based on my recorded weight. Any idea why the math is off?
I've been on Tirz for 16 1/2 weeks now. Been at 7.5mg for 7 weeks with no intention of titrating up any time soon. And up until this week, everything has been great. I eat a healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner, workout 3-5 times a week, and I've been losing an average of 3lbs per week (272.0 on February 8th -> 223.8 as of May 31). But this week, the summer heat finally arrived in Pennsylvania and it has absolutely killed my appetite. Yesterday, i only managed to eat 1185 calories, while my BMR is 1996 calories. I run a landscaping business and I've been putting in some very physical days this week. Other than my appetite being lower, and MAYBE being a little more tired in the evenings than normal, I'm still doing ok, and I've lost another 2.8lbs since Sunday. I've been drinking water like a fiend, so at least that's good.
I'm considering titrating down to try and eat a little closer to my BMR. Side note, my sedentary TDEE is 2396cal and my BMR is 1996cal, so if I do the traditional TDEE-500, I'm actually eating below my BMR, which long term is no bueno.
Just curious to hear some opinions/experiences on titrating down due to appetite suppression becoming a little too strong due to heat or other environmental factors. Thanks to everyone in advance!!!
Well, despite adding some weight to my left ring finger this past Saturday, this happened the day before. No longer obese!!! 14 weeks in and down 40lbs. Currently on 7.5mg with no intentions of titrating up any time soon.
Hey everyone! Just wanted to share an observation I've noticed and see if anyone else has a similar experience.
I started tirzepatide on February 8th. I've taken 13 injections so far, my most recent being Sunday evening at 9pm (~58 hours ago. I take all my shots in my stomach. My pattern has been lower right, lower left, upper right, upper left. So this week was lower right again.
And I've noticed a really interesting pattern (thanks to the Shotsy app!!!) The weeks where I inject in my lower right stomach I lose a SIGNIFICANT amount of weight. My average weight loss has been 2.8lbs per week. But on the weeks where I've injected in my lower right stomach, my weight loss has been 7lbs, 4.8lbs, 7.2lbs, (6.33lb average) and this week I'm already down 2.2lbs.
I realize 4 shots in the lower right stomach is a pretty small sample size, but it seems really interesting to me. Anyone else experience something similar?
