What's your go to "everyday" fruit forward coffee?

I mean the coffee you keep coming back to or buy a 1kg bag of that isn't too expensive?

I have a few 250g bags of more unique coffees that come from subscriptions but I also keep a 1kg bag of a traditional tasting chocolatey, nuts...

I'm looking for a more fruit forward to get a 1kg bag of.

There are too many options in the UK which is a good thing but makes deciding hard. Looking for recommendations in the hope there will be some sort of consensus that takes the decision out of my hands.

Aiden Cold Brew Concentrate, what ratio to use?

New to the Aiden and cold brews. I used their standard recipe which came out well but I drink decaf like it's water so would rather make a concentrate to dilute to get a bigger yield.

Anyone can recommend a good recipe to get started? I would be using cheap medium/dark roast decaf so easily extractable.

Getting an electric grinder, is the Ode Gen 2 the best value for money?

I want to simplify my workflow going from hand grinding all the time to an electric. I have both ZP6 and K Ultra but sometimes I brew larger batches so an electric would be useful.

Fortunately the budget is flexible, I would be happy to pay up to low £1000+ if it was really worth it but I am looking for the best value overall. I stumbled across the Timemore 078 and the Ode Gen 2 as the best options for the money?

Used I found the Ode for £210 and 078 used for £510. Is the 078 two times as good?

One benefit of the 078 is that I could get the SSP burrs in the fufure so also make espresso but idk how much that would sacrifice on filter quality, which is my priority

I rarely make espresso (mainly because of hand grinding currently).

Other options I considered:

Mazzer Philos - very large for my workspace but the ability to do espresso too is a big plus. Especially if it can do filter very well.

Lagom Casa - seems great for the price and I like the look /compact size. It does espresso too but Idk how the filter would compare to the Ode and 078, I haven't seen many comparisons.

Electric grinder to upgrade from K Ultra? Up to £1k

I love the flavour profile of the K Ultra even with light roasts. I'm not a fan of the tea like brews from ZP6 (which I am selling along with my old Encore) but my partner wants an electric grinder to simply the workflow.

Our priorities:

- Great for filter that is an upgrade from the K Ultra (sweetness, body and clarity without sacrificing the other two)

- Small footprint

- Ease of workflow to grind for batch sometimes (up to 60g)

- Ideally if it could do espresso (I only drink medium to dark espresso so don't care much about it) that would be a plus but not essential as I can just continue to use the K Ultra for that

Budget is £1k at most but I'm looking for the best value for money. The K Ultra is that for me when it comes to hand grinders, so I am looking for an electric equivalent.

Aiden arriving tomorrow, is there anything I should know/ tips

Excited to try it out. I am in the UK and got it on a sale for £250. Naturally I watched many of the reviews but wondering if there is anything else to consider?

Dialing in v60 03 larger batches

I have a glass v60 03 that was part of a switch kit I got before I knew much about brewing. I don't use it often as I prefer plastic for heat retention but now I find myself wanting to brew bigger batches 30-45g and the v03 would be suitable.

Mostly to be brew decaf.

However, the brews are coming out weak, flat tasting. I go coarser than usual (about 9 on the K Ultra for medium/dark roast decaf), 1:15 ratio.

Any advice? I rather not buy yet another brewer
