Every time someone points out Wish Nikki's creepy behavior, some random person:
She's gone, she's gone. Hit her, hit her with the holy water.

She's gone, she's gone. Hit her, hit her with the holy water.
There have been rumors about the >!symbiote!< appearing in the movie, sparked by scenes in trailers and TV spots showing Peter using organic web, having completely dark eyes and being vulnerable to high-frequency sounds. There’s also the all-but-confirmed rumor that Sadie Sink is playing >!Jean Grey!<. If that’s the case, it makes more sense for Peter to be undergoing a mutation rather than hosting the >!symbiote!<—saving that for Doomsday or Secret Wars. If Peter does mutate, he might share a connection with >!Jean!<, allowing him to bond with her over it and help her against her pursuers—which I think is the movie's plot. What do you guys think?
These scenes where Wish Nikki is hidden in the shadows—or where we only see her silhouette—are really great, Curry nailed them. They add a touch of mystery to the movie and imply that Nikki is now just a shell of her former self, with nothing left but her outward appearance.
Sooner or later, Wish Nikki was bound to end up loving Bear enough to do something that would send him to the afterlife, and indirectly, that’s exactly what she did. So, basically, she made her wish with One Wish Willow, and the pills he took just sped up the process lol.
In the buildup to Secret Wars in comics (during the Time Runs Out arc), Thor tragically dies in a heroic last stand against the Beyonders. He and Hyperion fight the god-like Beyonders to the very end to buy time, allowing the Marvel heroes to launch their Life Rafts before the collapse of reality. Do you think we’ll see a sacrifice from Thor similar to the ones in Doomsday or Secret Wars? I wonder if we’ll see (probably not) the introduction of Hyperion or the Beyonders? Or perhaps some other character (more likely) who will also sacrifice themselves alongside Thor? What do you think?
An image that perfectly summarizes the movie, a successfully updated meme. It is truly impressive, this film really demonstrates that with a visionary director, a great original script, talented actors giving their all, and an incredible behind-the-scenes team, it is still possible to make awesome films with original stories that captivate us. I can't wait to see what surprises Curry has in store for us in the future.
I don't know what Curry Barker did, but this movie really has a very captivating formula and a sense of nostalgia. We get attached to the characters, their flaws, the emotional appeal, the whole horror vibe, the uncanny valley, speculating about the lore of One Wish Willow and finding ourselves anxious about Bear and Nikki's situation and how it would end. I've already seen it twice in theaters and I'm seriously thinking about going again, I've seen that there are people who have already watched it five or six times, which is really impressive.
It seems like they are two different people, due to their completely opposite personalities, Inde really did a great job. One detail that has already been mentioned is the lighting always reflecting in Freaky Nikki's eyes, it's always there, whether she's in normal environments or hidden in the shadows. It resembles the eyes of someone who is emotional, and as also mentioned here, in the dark it looks like the eyes of a predator.
In a alternative universe, if Sarah had access to a One Wish Willow, do you think she would wish to go to art school or to Bear to like her, similar to the wish Bear made? In the second scenario, since it would take away his autonomy and personality, a Wish Bear would probably become corrupted over time, like happened to Wish Nikki. It would be interesting to see, what do you guys think?
Both the FAQ on website and the package of One Wish Willow state that once a wish is made, it cannot be reversed or repeated. Therefore, even if Ian or someone else tried to help Bear with his wish, it wouldn't be possible to undo the whole situation with Nikki.
