Baitcaster Shimano Dc vs daiwa non DC 300 dollar range

Baitcaster Shimano Dc vs daiwa non DC 300 dollar range

Hey I'm looking for anyone with experience on these two. I lost this entire setup over the boat last weekend and I was devastated. Loved the set up a lot. The DC reel was awesome but I'm also curious about the daiwa tatula. Anyone have experience with both or something to add if you just own one? I did like that DC, but I felt like it pretty limiting. Though that's by design. Taking the work out of it by doing it for you. I'm going to repurchase this but had a last minute shift of possibly getting the daiwa or even a non DC Shimano maybe.

Blue fawn boy

This is Baxter. We just got him yesterday. My other dog is a Aussie pyrenees. He is mildly amused 😂 she's 6 1/2 months and he's 3 1/2 months.

Breeder said when they went to register the litter, they realized they had lost paperwork for dad and didn't bother registering Baxter. Sooo idk what's up with that, but we got him for a very good price. Also I guess this color variation isn't eligible for show ring with akc. Not that it matters to us. She claimed parents are 75% European and 25% American. Though he looks more American to me. So do his parents. Anyway, we are super happy to have him aboard.

Dad is solid black. Mom is harlequin merle. Surprised he's this coloration but I know it happens.

We got big cats and striper in Oklahoma here. I've only got 3 poles that are for panfish, spinning bass Texas rig/drop shot setup(my first pole ever) and baitcast bass setup I use for majority of my lures.

Looking for a heavy duty moderate / heavy setup for 30-65lb mono test and heavier braid. Not trying to catch spoonbill or gar. Not on the right side or the state for that. Mostly just looking for something that won't get annihilated by a huge catfish or possibly a striper. My casting rod may actually be able to squeeze by striper. I just kind of want a rod to leave in the water while Im casting and reeling. I don't want to regret leaving it there if something big grabs it.

Price range 200 total to 450 total max.

Fan of st Croix and Shimano but open to new stuff too.
